SOC 2022-11-19 Let them eat Cupcakes

The SEC, that is. The West, in particular.

Meanwhile, there are a lot of meaningful games today around the country. Can TCU keep winning? What about USC, who is the PAC's last chance?

Over here, Iowa and Minnesota clash in what will be another physical test for the Hawks.

Making Italian today, for Friendsgiving later on. Homemade garlic bread, meatballs and sauce. Baked Penne, pan seared broccolini and a tossed salad.

I use 1/3 veal, beef and pork in my balls.

Checking in from a very chilly MSP.

Mrs. GR's family recipe for meatballs uses all beef, but we've got some other recipes that are a 50/50 pork and beef mix 

There is no greater trophy in all of American sport than Floyd of Rosedale.

Was going with black coffee but I'll try egg nogg in it,sans the Fire Water,of course.It's only 8:55,I never start into the Oh Be Joyfull before 11:30 am for Noon Games.Except for Keggs & Eggs

That implies that the Badgers have the desire, means, and ability to keep it in Madison. Based on how things have gone recently, that's a stretch. 

Loading up on a hearty breakfast before heading down to the Flats. Hot cider and Captain Morgan to wash down a copious quantity of ham and bacon later on. 

The only thing crazier than a demolition derby is a combine demolition derby. Both are great fun to see in person.

Chilly out this way. Banged up a knee running, so it’s a lifting sort of morning.

Also, during one particularly unproductive afternoon, I found the burial location of Floyd himself. It's in a treeline on a farm in rural Fillmore County north of Mabel.

In the topic of cupcakes, I got drunk around a friend’s graduation weekend at Marquette and ate like 11 of the cupcakes his GF made for the event (there were like 35).

Not a good gastrointestinal experience.
