Have to wonder how the Illini nearly went undefeated. They look like they have the flu.
A decade of Victory over Penn State.

All in since 1969

They had a chance to almost clinch today and look to be blowing it.

Assuming Illinois is going to lose in Ann Arbor the B1G-W Champ will be a three-loss team.

The West is going to become a big logjam now.  But ILL can save its season by beating Purdue and NW.

Tennessee has had a bunch of chances to get back into that game but they just can't move the ball.

Also it appears to be raining sideways in Athens.

Mel Tucker should get Coach of the Week if there’s such a thing.

Evidently Illinois no timeouts and the Spartans pass on third down

I don’t understand Michigan State’s roster. Looked so full of holes in uncompetitive losses to Washington, Minnesota, and Maryland.

Then today teams up and overpowers a ranked Illinois home team with the added disadvantage of four or five starters suspended. In any case, it was a big advantage to the Spartans that Illinois didn’t (or couldn’t) attack their secondary. MSU’s pass rush dominated the 4th quarter.

Faith restored in Mel Tucker.

I must have jinxed Bert with my thread.  Ooops.

Seemed like Hooker was sacked or hurried on 20+ snaps.
