Did they tell you about the batteries?
Yeah when we moved in to my house 6 years ago my gas mower died and I decided I was never buying another gas powered tool again. So I got the mower and now I have the weed whacker, edger, and leaf blower.

I'm using electric leaf blower and trimmers from Ryobi.   My snowblower is straight gas, toro.  Has electric starter. I live in Indy so a single stage is plenty.   My old machine was twenty years old, still operates,  I hated the gas /oil mix.  Made for a dirty run.   Chute paddles and housing was very worn.

Maybe but they are far better for me not wanting to fool around changing the gas and oil on my push lawnmower

At a wedding. Trying to figure out if I can hitch a ride with someone, so I don’t have to stay too sober. Or if it’s a better idea to be judicious about the sauce. Can’t handle hangovers like I used to.

Interested to see what I can or can’t watch tomorrow. Thankfully we have 30 hour batteries and YouTube TV on our phones. So we should be able to get something out of this.

38°F here at the moment, headed up to 71°F they say, so weather in the SE is going to be good.  I'm going to grill a flatiron for dinner after the Dawg game.  Might have either Champagne or Champagne win or lose, as Napoleon is said to have said.  I wonder how many quotes really aren't, like lies, damned lies, and statistics?

The answer is 33.7% on FB.

I might try that baking soda technique for tenderizing.

Step 1: Distribute Baking Soda to your cut(s) of meat
  • Rub the baking soda on your meat, making sure to cover all sides
  • Use about 1 percent of the meat’s weight in baking soda ounces (e.g., 10 lbs. of steak = 1.6 ounces or about 3 tablespoons of baking soda

Step 2: Place meat in a container and store in the refrigerator
  • Leave your cut in the refrigerator for anywhere between 3 to 5 hours, or overnight, if necessary.

Step 3: Remove meat and rinse thoroughly
  • Ensure all the baking soda is removed before cooking. It has done its job by now!

G'mornin' all.

Up in Barrington at the moment. Probably head out and watch a little football and then back here to see some friends and family.

I think we are bringing in pizzas tonight, which is fine, because we are in a Chicago suburb. A very safe one, of course.
