Sooners blitzed on 3 and 16 and Adrian made them pay dearly, scampering down to the 1.

K-State scores, up 41-27 with just under 2 min.

Not sure I wouldn't've played for the FG in order to instead work the clock.

Up by 14 with 1:50 left or up by 10 with about 1:00 left?

isn't gonna matter

Sooners are gonna take the loss

unless they invoke the "magic"

One Miami lost, the other won (vs N'Western)

Brandon Jacobs, who played for the 49ers under Harbaugh. Jacobs had a lot more to say about Jim. Not so good things I might add.
I don't mean this as a means to defend Jimmy because I don't care.

But what exactly does Brandon Jacobs know about anything? Brandon Jacobs is near a decade removed from playing, but he is not putting this possibly wise coaching mind to work. He spent most of his career with Kevin Gilbride, a perfectly good NFL coordinator, but not exactly the second coming of Bill Walsh. Jacobs was both constantly at odds with his coaches and functionally washed at that point. And he was part of an offense that was for the most part good with some odd fitting pieces, and bitterly lamented he couldn't beat out Kendall Hunter.

I guess what I'm saying is, if Brandon Jacobs didn't deeply agree with you, you'd most likely savage the ever-loving hell out of him, and he'd frankly deserve it more than like 85% of the things or people you savage.

A lot of highly ranked teams looked mediocre or worse yesterday.  UGA played poorly, but against an overmatched opponent.

I couldn't watch the game, don't get the channel here.

There are any number of sports bars within easy walking distance, I thought we got SEC+, but we don't.  I just didn't bother, figured it would be boring.

I watched some other games which was fine and followed the UGA game on the iPad.  I noted last week that a team can look awesome in three games and then suddenly look pretty pedestrian, which always happens it seems.  I'd probably vote OSU #1 right now, not that it matters.

UCLA won in a blow out, now their schedule gets more testy.

And people born and raised in southern CA believe that SC is better than anywhere in the country. It’s not so much a knock on Lincoln as a comment on the mindset of SC folks.
I'm married to one who thinks it sucks. :)

IMHO this Gopher club is legitimate division champ material.
UW will not provide any resistance, and this is not an even year in Fitz's mind apparently.

Did I move to a state where the college football teams suck?

Shit, I could have stayed in Chicago for that.

Oh, and I think OSU just score another touchdown. Stroud just ran through my front yard.

We spent a week in SD and are headed back for Turkey Day.  It seems to be decent, but very expensive of course.  My step daughter and her family are renting and looking for something with little success though they did sell their house in France at least for a nice tidy.

Much of eastern CA is more akin to Texas than LA.

You enjoyed your trip to South Dakota so much, that you are going back in late November?

You don't get SEC+? I thought that was a standard overflow channel. Interesting it wasn't.
