I nominate Der Dutchman

The Lettuce Entertain You group has a lot of great holdings. I'd call it the best chain group.

Restaurants - Lettuce Entertain You

They used to own this chain too, which is really good.

Yeah, we just went to Maggiano's for my youngest's 13th birthday last weekend.

First time I'd been to a Maggiano's probably since I went to one at the Oakbrook mall growing up in Chicago, either HS or when home for college.

Decent place, but wasn't anything special as far as Italian food is concerned.

Yeah there's a Maggiano's here, it's pretty good.  It can accommodate large groups so we end up there for band parent functions and stuff like that.

I like them for their consistency across all locations.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of this place. Granted my city has a sort of cliché mid level Italian restaurant that seem to dominate that space.

Can't vouch for accuracy here, but this is what I found:

I was going to say it's a little thin in Big Ten country outside of Chicago, but then I saw that there's about a million of them in Maryland and Joisey, lol.

Never heard of it.  I'll give it a try.
