Kickoff is Saturday at 7:30 PM on NBC.  Michigan is favored by 32.5 points.  No injuries to speak of on Michigan's side so this looks like another tune up game for next week in Happy Valley.

pre-45+ point beat down cope? Agree with this dude though, respect him for putting his name behind it. Probably not a smart idea to poke the lion in the eye right before you have to go into the lions den though...

damn you were close.

would've been 41-6 if Purdue didn't get a garbage time TD with 18 seconds left in the game.

By the way, I don't get that. Why do teams that are getting their asses absolutely kicked in and down 35 points try to score a cheap meaningless touchdown with seconds left in a game and risk injuries to players to score a meaningless touchdown with seconds left in the game?

"Oh yaaaay...look at us! we scored a touchdown and got beat by 4 touchdowns instead of 5 touchdowns! Yaaay! Can't wait til we get our participation trophies!!!"

my two cents? just take the knee and run the clock and take your ass-whooping like fcking men.

Have you ever played?

They do it because they want to prove to themselves they gave it their best.  They never gave up. They have to go play again next week and they need to trust in each other that they still have fight.  It does not change the fact that they got whipped.

I mean, I guess? Me personally, I'd rather just live to fight another down. The risk of injury is just not worth it. It's a violent game and fluke injuries happen. A lot. Keeping in starters when you're down 5 TD's with a couple minutes or seconds left in a game with no shot at winning a game seems a little reckless. What if the starting QB takes a kill shot and is done for the season? It's OK to just take the L like a man, pull the plug and say let's watch this film, look at all the mistakes and try to correct them, burn the film, then move onto the next opponent.

Michigan QB McCarthy looked rusty and LT Henderson was getting beat too frequently for my liking. Does not bode well with Penn State’s excellent DEs on the immediate horizon.  Running game was unimpressive, I guess Michigan is a pass first team now.

Prolly because unlike the Blue Bloods their back ups are actual student-athletes and would get keelhauled if inserted
