Friday night is for the high schoolers!
Not on topic but old OSU quarterback and my neighbor Stanley Jackson started coaching for our local high school and pulled in lots of old OSU players to help coach, including Beanie Wells.

Brad Holmes please figure out how to draft Newton from Illinois in the '24 Draft. Holy shit that guy is good. Would be a dream to pair him on the DL with Hutchinson.

Illinois looks like Illinois

Kansas doesn't look like Kansas

21-0 now. that's a wrap. game over. Illinois fell off a cliff. Newton made a mistake coming back, should've went pro or hit the portal.

Illinois gives up another TD with like under a min left to go in the 2nd QTR right before the half.

28-7 at the half. This one looking ugly for them.

Was at my oldest kid's  HS game .    Was stuck on 2-0 for awhile.    48point second half.  So much throwing.   Game longer than 2.5 hrs.

In the old world, yes.  He was Dantonio 2.0.

In this world, screw it.  Hell, MSU took more shit for losing in a CFP than we did for winning an Outback Bowl.  In this world,.you are either a national title contender, or you are an equal pile of worthlessness. It was clear that coaching up lesser talent had a cap. So if reaching the playoff and getting blasted was somehow worse than being a middling bowl team, then go get the guy who can't coach, but is.going for the talent to try and get you there.  Hell, I think hes the same guy as Dabo, but hasn't gotten his Watson/Lawrence combo yet, and probably never will

Nick Saban could return to MSU, and the way college football is structured now it wouldn't matter
