Oh man, I wouldn't want anything other than a big, complex red with my steak.  It's the most perfect pairing in the world.  Just my opinion, of course.

Yeah, I thought that as well until I tried the austere white.

Our hosts in Canada have one.   Can't help you with the recipe.  It is strangely delicious.   One of those things that I'm sure wouldn't taste as good if made in a non remote outpost while fishing all day.

My son did a fly in for a week in Canada to an island with no electricity.  He had a grand time.

He was with a friend and his father and two uncles.

Have to schedule around the black fly season though.We usually went up to Ont/Que in September so no problem.I remember as a kid in June they were murder on Lake Nippising
