Other P5 CG races after week 10
« on: November 06, 2022, 10:15:54 PM »
ACC:
Despite losing to Notre Dame this weekend, Clemson clinched a spot in the ACCCG when Syracuse lost to Pitt.

Clemson's opponent will almost certainly be UNC. The Tar Heels are two games ahead of DOOK and they beat the Blue Devils H2H. They have a three game lead on everyone else so all they need is to win one more game or for DOOK and GaTech to lose one each.

B12:
At 6-0 TCU is close to a lock but the race for the other spot is wide open. Texas, Baylor, and KSU are all 4-2 while KU and OkSU are both 3-3.

P12:
Oregon is in the best position at 6-0 but the three teams left on their schedule are all  .500 or better in the league so it would hardly be shocking if they dropped a game.

Behind the Ducks are three one-loss teams: The two LA schools on the way to the B1G and last year's champion Utah.

Behind them is Washington at 4-2. They travel to Oregon this weekend and if they lose they are pretty much done but if they win their last two games are against two of the worst teams in the league so they should finish 7-2 and right in the thick of the race.

SEC:
East:
Georgia more-or-less clinched a spot with their win over Tennessee. The only way for them to miss the SECCG now would be if they lost their last two league games and Tennessee wins out.

West:
The LSU Tigers are now 5-1 and their last two games were wins over Ole Miss (4-1) and Bama (4-2) so they'd win a tie with either the Rebels or the Tide or both. Bama and Ole Miss play this weekend in Oxford. Meanwhile, LSU visits Arkansas. If LSU and Bama both win, that clinches a spot for the Tigers in Atlanta.
