2012 Florida (11-2)
  • 17-9 loss to Georgia cost them a shot at an SEC title
  • Other loss was to Louisville in the Sugar Bowl
  • Held 5 opponents to under 14 points
  • All-Americans: DT Sharrif Brown, S Matt Elam, K Caleb Sturgis, P Kyle Christy

2015 Ohio State (12-1)
  • Ranked #1 all season in the AP Poll, but were #3 in initial CFP Rankings
  • Lone loss was 17-14 at home to #9 Michigan State on a game ending FG
  • Closed season by winning @#10 Michigan 42-13 and 44-28 over #8 Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl, their only wins over ranked opponents
  • All-Americans: OT Taylor Decker (consensus), DE Joey Bosa (consensus), RB Ezekiel Elliott, OG Pat Elflein, DT Adolphus Washington, LB Raekwon McMillan, S Von Bell

No one should pick '12 Florida in this one.  They won games by the skin of their teeth, including a freak punt-block TD on the last play of the game to beat La-Lafayette.  If they had to play any very strong team from yesteryear, they'd lose.  They wouldn't give up a bunch of points, but they'd lose.
