We "only" have three, now.  One was left by the preceding residents, a 4K 55" unit that is in the master.  I replaced it with my 65" 1K TV in the living room, and the wife has her small one.  The picture quality of the 4K is no better than the 1K unless I chance upon some upgraded content somewhere.  The 65" looks better on that wall, which could manage an 80".

I also am waiting for OLED down the road a few years.

The one upgrade I did that surprised me at the difference was changing my stereo receiver from a 15 year old Onkyo to a new Yamaha, it really made a difference in the sound quality that surprised me, same speaker set up.  I bought it "reconditioned", which came looking brand new in all respects.

No TV's in bedrooms, ever. Bedrooms are for sleeping and other things.

TVs in the bedroom can be useful for those other things, badge. :)  To each his own.

Our master is quite large, so there is this small sofa in it where the wife watches TV, plus a piano, and king sized bed.

The unit apparently once had two rooms up there, one I guess was a sitting room or office that overlooked the middle floor and is open.  The unit across the hall is like this.  Somebody did a good job making one large room out of two and enclosing the opening with glass.

I just counted our TVs in my head, it's kind of ridiculous.    Growing up we had two TVs, one in the living room, and one in my parents' master bedroom.

Now, I have 7 (not counting the 2 in the RV).
hopefully you aren't subscribed to an IPTV system that requires a set top at each location and are billed for each

Nah, only one settop box for the DVR functionality.  The rest are all Smart TVs and/or Roku.

I just counted our TVs in my head, it's kind of ridiculous.    Growing up we had two TVs, one in the living room, and one in my parents' master bedroom.

Now, I have 7 (not counting the 2 in the RV).

1 x Master bedroom
1 x Master bathroom
1 x Living room
1 x Kids' game room
2 x Adult game room/sports bar (that's where we have our pool table, and 2 TVs for game-watching)
1 x outdoor patio, visible from the pool and hot tub

To answer badge's original question, most of them are Samsung since I, too, like and trust the brand.  The newer ones are all 4K, but none are OLED/QLED, which looks amazing and will likely be my next one for the living room, which is our main family movie/game-watching area, when we're not upstairs in the billiards room/sports bar.

Growing up it was just the large piece of furniture TV with a radio and record player on each side. It was about 6 feet long.

Currently it is 1 in the living room, 1 in master bedroom, 1 in guest room, 1 in the office and 1 on the patio. Had 2 others but gave them to a couple of my kids.

1 is a 80" 2 are 55" and 1 is just a small 22"  The 80" is getting old and probably should be replaced, a number of the app providers do not support it any more.

Only 2 TV's here. One in the living room, one in the bedroom. But that's what you get when you only have 1200 sf to work with.

I'd certainly consider tossing one out in the garage for brewing but it's pretty packed out there too.

I wish I had an open floorplan where I could see the living room TV from the kitchen, since we spend so much time in the kitchen. But I don't care enough to try to put a TV in the kitchen.

Just buy a Roku to hook up to it. Then the Roku has all the apps.

my daughter has a TV downstairs in her room.  My old 50" plasma

otherwise just my 65" in my living room.  1100 sf here on both levels.  Living room isn't huge.  About enough for myself and 3 others watching a game comfortably.  Yes, I've packed in 8-10 on occasion, but it's not ideal.

Roku is the way to go.  It's what my daughter uses.  Got good advice from the tech geeks here.
