Ah...good one.

That's a tricky picture of Atlanta's skyline.

Foreground: small fraction of downtown Atlanta's skyline

Afar: Atlanta's Buckhead skyline (see below)

Horizon: Blue Ridge Mountains north

Yup, I liked the photo, even though it's several years old.  The foreground is part of the midtown group of buildings.

Poor quality photo from a too-distant unrevealing angle.

To make guessing more difficult, this is a screen shot of a Disney kids movie filmed and released in the mid-90s. Since then, what is visible in the photo is dwarfed and crowded out by a more massive skyline built up over the last three decades as the surrounding metro area's population tripled.

Tucson

...kinda does look like Tucson minus the surrounding mountain ranges...

A better hint – a more evident view of its 90s skyline dwarfed by development since then:

Hmm still no guesses.

I'll add-- it's entirely possible that a young utee94 is in the picture I posted above...

Yeah I recused myself from the voting.  I played soccer on those fields at Zilker Park, about a decade before @CatsbyAZ 's original photo was taken.

I think Austin is one of the nicest looking downtowns of larger cities.  Having a waterfront is a big plus I think.  There is an amusing thread on facebook having competitions between cities and downtown skyline shots, folks get REALLY aggressive in their comments.  MY CITY IS WAY COOLER!!!!  and worse.

And yet a city with a so-so skyline can in theory have a nicer downtown, other factors are important, duh.
