...Megyn Kelly the other day opened her podcast segment with this same before/after picture you posted of Erin Moriarty, calling plastic surgery a celebrity addiction and asking “who is the surgeon who said ‘yes, I will keep going’…you’re making these people look other than human.”

So Erin Moriarty is leaving Instagram due to Megyn Kelly's podcast comments. She posted on Instagram that the two juxtaposed photos weren't even close in age - about a decade apart - and confirmed heavy use of contouring makeup.

I can tell that at least some of it is coming from contouring makeup.  I am hopeful that the majority of it is coming from contouring makeup, but there's definitely filler in the lips and that's pretty much never a good thing.

Makeup contouring has roots going back to male stage actors playing female roles, back when casts were all male. As acting shifted from theater to film, contouring was mainly used for styling actors/actresses before it became a standard in the drag community. Contouring is now a mainstream, at-home style trend for women.

Contouring started, for the most part, to feminize male faces, and isn’t necessary for women whose faces, needless to say, are already feminized. IMO, contouring doesn’t make a naturally pretty face any more attractive to the male gaze. However, like plastic surgery, contouring is an increasing fashion trend. Women pursue fashion trends as part of the competition women wage with each other for status among other women.

Now for the obligatory chic pic – notice how contouring increases nose definition, frames the forehead with warmer colors, and carves out the cheekbones:

Apparently there are a bunch of 16-24 yo dudes who cause a lot of problems trying to get into the PMAC to watch her, often without tickets.  A string of police incidents, fights, other kerfuffles.  She's not nearly as good at gymnastics like many of her teammates and previous years' schoolmates, but what she lacks in skill to draw popularity she makes up for in.....other areas. 

She's dating Paul Skenes, the LSU pitcher who just won a CWS and then went #1 in the MLB draft.  How happy is that guy that he transferred from Air Force?
