Some of you may have seen it on the book face, but I thought it noteworthy enough to put here. Yours truly is getting married to a fantastic woman. Definitely marrying up.

Soon-to-be Mrs. GR did undergrad at Michigan State, masters at Vandy, and I met her as she was finishing her PhD at the U of M. Tries to follow MSU football when possible, including watching it at our tailgate. 

An off-season wedding is planned.

Congratulations GR.   Very cool.  I have to ask, she wasn't at Vandy when we were all in Nashville for our Board Meeting was she?

No, I think she was either still at MSU or at her first teaching job. Which, incidentally, was in Champaign, Illinois.

I had a hunch it was coming and said as much to DF this past weekend that I figured an engagement may be on the way... sure enough I logged onto FB last night and saw the great news!     Wishing you and the fiance a smooth wedding planning process and a very exciting future together!
