The other thing I see OFTEN on social media" (which tends to be about as asocial as anything in life), is the hystrionic "fire the coaches" when something goes wrong. Some UGA posters last night were posting to clean house (usually excepting Smart) when things looked grim (and indeed they looked grim). I always ponder whether it's the players fault, not the coaches, and realize that CFB is a "game of inches" and probabilities. Sometimes, the probability falls on the other side, a play just doesn't work, it gets called at the wrong time, a blocker misses his assignment, any number of variables flip bad.
I understand "fandom" breeds hysteria and tantrums and over reactions, it's part of the deal, but it gets amped these days. These are guys I don't know mostly doing their best against other guys I don't know,
I will say Auburn fans have a basis for believing the refs/league office hate them.
