Coffee is on should be raking acorns/leaves in 2 hrs then settle in for Sooner/Horns & Ducks/Hoosiers and so much more

Third-ranked Oregon Ducks plays its second top-10 team in as many games when the Ducks host No. 7 Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday in another high-profile Big Ten football matchup at Eugene, Ore.

The Ducks (5-0, 2-0 Big Ten) were flying high after a 30-24 double-overtime upset of then-No. 3 Penn State on the road on Sept. 27. Now they will be rested coming off a midseason bye week and playing at home.

The Hoosiers and Ducks have not played each other since 2004, when Indiana edged Oregon 30-24 in Eugene.

This year, the Ducks have scored points on all 23 trips into the red zone on offense, :o the second most of any team in the nation to have scored on 100 percent of drives inside the 20.

Indiana (5-0, 2-0) survived for a 20-15 win at Iowa on Sept. 27, but the Hoosiers racked up 192 points in the three games prior to playing the Hawkeyes.

Indiana is off to a 5-0 start in back-to-back seasons for the first time in program history.

The play of Cal transfer Fernando Mendoza at quarterback helps make the Saturday game a showcase of two of the nation's top signal-callers, as he will go up against Oregon's Dante Moore.

No. 1 Ohio State at No. 17 Illinois @ Noon
No. 8 Alabama at No. 14 Missouri @  Noon
No. 6 Oklahoma vs. Texas (Dallas) @ 3:30
No. 7 Indiana at No. 3 Oregon @ 3:30
No. 5 Texas A&M hosts Florida @ 7:00
No. 10 Georgia at Auburn @ 7:30
No. 15 Michigan at USC @ 7:30

Hell of a line up 😍

Mornin Nubbz.

The wife wants to go out for dinner. Not ideal with such a great day of football but she is getting rid of the kids. I told her after the 3:30 games are done I'm all hers.

Mornin Fellas

I should be gettin ready for an early tee time with a 2:30 Husker kick, but played 18 yesterday!
Gonna start cleaning out the garage this morning, ready for the early games.
Gotta Weddin reception to attend immediately following the Husker/Terp game so I'll pace my alcohol intake during the game.

that reminds me, need to take a quick spin with the RED car into the city to pickup a card and a crisp 100 dollar bill for the bride

Best wishes FF,Hope they have TV's on,went to a late October wedding7-8 yrs back. And the TVs were off to extole the experience and share the special day with the lucky couple. I hardly knew them but Cindy is very close with the groom's mom.It was the worst wedding I ever attended,hi-fallutin place that facked up the filet mignon and I wasn't the only one who noticed.

So we made small talk with pleasant folks around I didn't know - after all they prolly wanted out also ;D. And we lied when telling the venues staff everything was exceptional when they made the rounds to inquire.I would of told them differently in the parking lot,out of ear shot.Turns out the lovely bride is more than a little morphing into Frau Blücher 🙃

might have to give some effort to find a TV.

Father of the bride and host isn't a big college football fan - no one in the bride's family
don't know the groom

the Hawks do kick around 6pm in Camp Randall, so there's a chance

Big Iowa shed party on the farm!  Gonna be some hootin and hollarin

seems odd FOX would list the Sparty game on BTN and omit the Husker game on BTN

Don't you have to beg off later and be at the airport around 6 to pick someone up? Bride won't be too upset when she opens that envelope. And where is this shed party?

Father of the Bride is one of my best buddies - gonna enjoy tippin a few back with him and razzin him about the cost!
Wouldn't skip out early fer nuttin - not even a Husker game

will be plenty of Bud Fat and good eats

He will be enjoyin what he refers to as a "cloudy" - blended Canadian whiskey with a splash of Coke to make it cloudy!

the shed is less than 13 miles from my place. all on 2-lane blacktops.  I'm sure I've got a place to snooze if I'm not up to the drive home
I could also just take the gravels home ;)

Buenas dias.

Gonna finish repairing and putting up Halloween decorations this morning.  Then we'll head over to Bald Greg's for the TX-OU game at 2:30.  In celebration of the State Fair of Texas we'll be frying up homemade corn dogs, funnel cake, and fried twinkies.  Pair it with Shiner Bock, of course, as is tradition.
