Duke's win @Clemson was their first in 45 years.

OU vs Tennessee was a great, back-and-forth game.  Equal teams.

GA Tech finally lost.

Pitt vs Stanford is just another conference game.  Of course.

I don't give a rip about either of these teams, but damn, do I feel for the Toronto fans in the stadium tonight.
I've been the equivalent of that in the Metrodome for Gopher football many times.

Chris Perry is still catching screen passes from John Navarre.

injuries just continue to pile up for Michigan and Sherrone Moore continues to show his ass and prove he’s not the guy.

they will probably beat Northwestern but would not be shocked at all if they lose to Maryland on the road and I’m half expecting it, and Ohio State is going to bury them in Ann Arbor. Booked a flight and had tickets to the game but I’m not even going to waste my time and bother going this year. Too cold and why waste time and money watching Moore get outclassed and out coached by Day.

New AP Poll out. No B1G teams fell out and two (USC/Iowa) jumped in so we now have 6:

  • 1 Ohio State
  • 2 Indiana
  • 6 Oregon
  • 20 Michigan
  • 21 USC
  • 24 Iowa

Shirley, there must be some mathematical elimination at this point, along with some amusingly far fetched scenarios for the teams that are just barely clinging to their slim mathematical possibilities.

Don't call me Shirley!

I'll do a post about tiebreakers, eliminations, and some scenarios probably on Monday.

🥱 Oh FFS why don't you just go ahead and say "No Way" and get it over with. tOSU Oline is nothing like M*s,hell your second best back racked up 165 yds saturday nite. Not sure if out whole stable of RBs garnered that in one outing. Of course it will rain/sleet grounding Ryan Air,I'm just going to tune up the snow blower and get ready for the inevitable

That's the coaches poll.  The AP poll is a little different

1.  Ohio St
2.  Indiana
6.  Oregon
20.  USC
21. Mich
24.  Wash
26.  Iowa

The first CFP rankings come out on Tues Nov 4.
We are all equal but some are more equal than others.

FWIW, the short story on mathematical eliminations is that Indiana picked up league win #6 while Ohio State and Michigan each picked up league win #5. Since Ohio State and Michigan play each other and they can't both lose that means that the CG participants will be 6-3 or better which means that the teams with 4+ league losses are officially eliminated. Say goodbye Terps, Knights, Lions, Badgers, Spartans, and Boilermakers.

So a Nebraska-Illinois final is still on the table?
