Tough to argue with a lot of that.

I always had a soft spot for the San Diego Chargers.  Now they're not even an afterthought in LA.

Gotta love SD giving the finger to the NFL sure be nice if the mayors in cities would wake up and see how they are getting played. The millions spent on disgusting slimy ass hole owners could actually go into the infrastructure and our country would be a hell of a lot better off

The Chargers old stadium is being torn down as we speak. Having moved to San Diego recently, I've come across a number of former Chargers season ticket holders who, since the Chargers moved up the road, have completely stopped following not only the Chargers but the NFL. And unlike Browns fans who've remained vocally bitter against Art Modell, Spanos doesn't register as anything worth talking about. They're past the point of caring. My one buddy has moved on from sports altogether and taken up a second life running year round Dungeons and Dragons tournaments on Sundays. He commented to me the other day, after watching a quarter of the Bengals-Chiefs game, how much leaner Offensive Lineman look these days.

San Diego is much more of a Padres and Lakers town now.

"We" prefer shiny new stadia to infrastructure.  I was astonished that the Braves got a new one, really, the "old" one was actually quite nice, and centrally located.

SDSU will play their games in a new stadium built atop the location where Qualcomm was torn down. SnapDragon Stadium will seat 35K, to open this Sept Vs Arizona. Without a stadium all last year, SDSU played their home games at an MLS Stadium, home to the LA Galaxy, in Carson CA. The same soccer complex where the Chargers spent their few years adrift between San Diego and SoFi.

That will be a much better home field advantage than playing in a 70,000 seat stadium, meant to handle baseball

They're the Aztecs!
Where's the pyramid in the end zone?
They could do a Clemson-esque pre-game of coming down the steps, after be-heading the opponent's mascot and letting it roll down the steps ahead of them.

C'mon, man!

This being the first year in, ahem, quite some time where I am invested in the actual game, I thought I would enjoy the pregame coverage. Not so much.

It is not watchable.

4-6-8 guys on TV all yelling at me at the same time is not fun.
