there is a huge difference to me in signing a $100 mil contract and being a diva vs being a young kid just entering the draft who is being up front that he doesn't want to play for your team. huge difference. don't sign the dotted line, take the $100 million and then be a huge jerkoff when you don't get exactly what you want or things aren't going your way. 

I've got no problem with a player who is entering the draft saying he doesn't want to play for a certain team. Team has simple solution: don't draft the kid or draft him and trade him.

Yeah, but there are those of us who look at things differently.  Hopefully the players themselves do too.  Joe Thomas is a winner, period, end of discussion.  Doesn't matter to me if he ever got a ring.  Many players fit that category.  You give it your all, become elite at your position, that's all you can ask.  Everything else is out of your control.  

I don't think OBJ's time with the Giants was contentious, whatever his preferences.  He routinely seemed to be fine there when interviewed.  Who knows what's going on in his head, but OBJ was always a loud personality.  Nobody ever wondered what was on his mind when he was in college.  He wasn't a problem, but he wasn't a quiet guy who blended in either. 

What's up with Eli Apple?  Dude roasted the Giants and Saints, then insulted the fans, and then went a step further to trash the city of New Orleans and then say the food is horrible.  Now he's trolled the Chiefs players, offering them tickets to the SB.  All I really know about him was watching him with the Saints and the playoff games with the Bengals.  Nobody should be a douche, but when you're not even good enough to earn some passes, you really should try harder to do the bare minimum.  And by "bare minimum" I mean....you know....not insulting and picking fights with fans and insulting their cities. 

Guys who quarrel with their peers within the league or management may have some growing up to do.  When you can't stop yourself from blasting the fans who make your career possible, you have major character flaws. 

ETA:  And if you dis NOLA's food, then you've left "douche" and crossed into "dumb" territory.

what's up with Eli Apple? he stinks. I still don't know how he was a top 10 pick just 5 seasons ago. He's already on his 4th team. 

Jeff Okudah also kinda sucks. What's going on with high draft pick OSU CB's? 

Lattimore is pretty damn good though. Even if he gets away with quite a bit of PI.
