Yeah I liked him the best of the QBs in his draft at the time.  I just think he got put in a very unfriendly situation w/ the Jets.  Seeing Zach Wilson is having some similar problems so far as well.

Forget fastest QBs ever. Lamar Jackson might be the fastest player I've ever seen. He is so fricken fast and elusive, it's insane that he plays QB. He's faster than Vick.

I have to admit as one who usually does not get all that excited about the NFL, the several games I watched yesterday were incredibly exciting to watch.

As I have said here before, if you asked me why I don’t find NFL football as exciting I actually couldn’t give you a specific answer. It’s just always seem like the players are so good they cancel each other out and you don’t see the big chunk gains an exciting place that you see with college football.

But yesterday I watched the Dallas versus the chargers game which was amazing and then last night I watched the ravens versus the Chiefs.

Both of those games were extremely entertaining and kept my interest from start to finish which usually does not happen with NFL games for me like college football does.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

Tampa Bay looked like a Super Bowl contender.  That wasn't the case last year at this time.
A decade of Victory over Penn State.

All in since 1969

Because I believe Purdue was not on MSU's schedule the past two years, I'm sad we were robbed of Rondale Moore.  He is already a gamechanger in that Arizona offense.

knew he was going to be a problem in that offense. D-Hop is a dominant #1, AJ Green on the downside of his storied career but can still play at high level in spurts, Christian Kirk pretty decent #3. Moore going to get lot of 1-on-1’s with safeties and linebackers who have zero chance of covering him.

Exactly. Moore had basically one year for Purdue, and that year Moore was essentially Purdue's entire offense. Which means that teams knew that they had to account for Rondale Moore, and basically only Rondale Moore, on every play...

...and most still failed to contain him.

Michigan State tried to double team him and take him out of the game, and he still went 11/74/0.

Yeah I'm afraid the Cowboys are gonna be the cardiac kids this year and make every game close.  They lost by 2 to Tampa Bay last week, and beat the Chargers by 3 this week.  Gonna be a gut-wrenching year for Dallas fans, I think.

Fortunately for the Cowgirls they play in the Least and should run away with that god awful division. Dak looks really good and that WR crew is no joke.

Is Pittsburgh’s Week 1 win Vs Buffalo an oddity? We’re only two games into the season but the Steelers are getting outgained by the opponent’s offense by an average of just over 100 more yards. And worse, Big Ben looks older and his OL looks slower into the latter stages of each game, which can’t bode well when there’s so little support from the ground game, so far averaging only 57 yds/game – good for dead last in the NFL. Drafting Najee Harris at Running Back is doing more for the passing game the rushing game at this point – 43 yds receiving Vs 38 yds rushing this past Sunday Vs the Raiders.

Defense will only carry this body bag of an offense so far. Loser of this Sunday’s upcoming Steelers-Bengals showdown finishes last in the division.

Just to add on to that Moore discussion, about guys we didn't get to see in the Big Ten last year, how about Dallas putting Micah Parsons at defensive end for the first time since high school, and he goes out and dominates. Through two weeks the offensive and defensive rookies of the year could be two big 10 players who opted out last year

Moore didn't opt out. He said he was going to and then came back.

Unfortunately he missed the first 3 games of the year as he tweaked a lower body injury and then only got 3 games because Purdue lost 2 of their scheduled 8 due to COVID. At that point Purdue's season was in a tailspin, the defense was toast, and it was a screwy season in so many ways.

In those three games, he notched 35 catches for 270 yards (no TD's) and 6 rushes for 32 yards. No TDs though. Definitely pretty solid stats in general, but all three games were losses (to MN, Rutger, and UNL) and nobody gave a crap about what Purdue was doing at that point so nobody watched. It paled in comparison to his opening salvo of 313 all-purpose yards against Nebraska in the 2018 opener and embarrassing the entire Ohio State defense on national TV in a night game in 2018.

Those games were so immaterial that you'd forgotten that he hadn't opted out, but 35 catches for 270 yards is not like he didn't perform.

Washington is probably still a little better than Dallas, I'd expect them to win the division again.  But when all the teams are this bad, surprises happen.
