I think State rolls and wins by double digits. Nebraska did play OU tough last week, but not really sold on them as being an elite team. Rattler doesn't look anywhere near the type of player Baker or Kyler were at QB.

I would like to see Nebraska come back to the fold of the elite one day. Not sure it'll ever happen, but it'd be great for the sport and for the conference.
How about the rest of the conference

The memories of Sam Foltz and Mike Sadler* will be honored during Saturday night’s coin toss at Michigan State.

An unlikely quarterback duel

Nebraska and Michigan State boast some of the nation’s most effective quarterbacks. Nebraska junior quarterback Adrian Martinez and Michigan State sophomore quarterback Payton Thorne are both top 10 in QBR, ESPN’s all-encompassing quarterback metric statistic.

Saturday marks the first game of the season between two top-10 quarterbacks in QBR but that’s not where the fun stops.

I love what the SPARTANS have been able to do, so far. However, I think Nebraska isn’t as bad as they looked in week zero, so I am looking for a very competitive game (coin toss) in this spot. Maybe Nebraska needs this more?

Huskers obviously need this one more

not sure it that will be enough motivation to play a relatively clean game

Nebraska definitely needs this one more. Michigan State is a good team, they'll win bunch more games. If Nebraska loses this- they might not win another game. They need every win they can get their hands on.

According to the trends, fans of Michigan State have cause for concern given the Spartans record when entering a game as a favorite at home. In its last 13 games as a home favorite, Michigan State has just a 1-12 record against the spread and have lost four games outright.

That’s according to data from ESPN’s Chris Fallica:

Nebraska is better than their record indicates.  Perhaps if they played Western Michigan, Washington, Northern Illinois, and Rutgers they would be 4-0.
A decade of Victory over Penn State.

All in since 1969
