yeah it's actually crazy....the Bears D was so good for awhile there with Urlacher & Briggs that they went all the way to the Super Bowl with freakin baby-hands Rex Grossman as the QB. Pretty remarkable when you think about it.

The man is in the Hall of Fame and is among the best football players to ever put on a helmet. Of course he is going to get a mention.

-Johnny Majors: 4 Seasons '73-'76 (plus a failed 2nd stint in the mid-90s); .713 winning %; 1976 National Championship; more famous as Tennessee's HC for 16 seasons
-Jackie Sherrill: 5 Seasons; .842 winning %; 3 national championship runs (though did not win outright); more known as coach for Texas A&M and Miss State

Walt Harris and Dave Wannstedt were fired well into winning tenures. Pat Narduzzi is going into his 10th season, the school's longest tenured coach since the 1960s.

Which Hall of Fame?  The overall football HOF located in Bumfuck, VT? 

Why, oh why, are there separate Halls of Fame for pro and college football?!?  Gee whiz!  Keeping them separate hurts m-m-m-my brain stem!
