It's a toss up.  I thought Cousins would win a sentamental vote, because Cook didn't make friends, but that Cook was better.  But looking at their numbers, they are surprisingly similar, and slight edge to Cousins.

I think all in all 2014 was the most talented team.

Cook feels more right to me. He seemed to be doing more with less support in my memory.

I feel like Cousins may have also hurt my feelings at some point. Though that should have me voting for him.

Cousins had a ton of memorable games against UW.  The upset win to get a share of the Big Ten title in 2010, the Hail Mary win in 2011, followed by the revenge in the Big Ten title game.  I think the last second FG when Bielema cost his team the game was pre-Cousins.  I think that was Hoyer.

Off the top of my head, I don't think Cook played Wisconsin.  Did the two teams play at all from 2013 until last year?  It's a shame, mixed with them being the top two basketball programs in the conference this century, adding football to the mix created a fun organic mini rivalry.

I forgot that 2010 game was such an upset. That 2008 game was a mess on all fronts.

After the 2013 grinder, they met once, in the year MSU went 3-9. UW burst their bubble in the first Alex Hornibrook start when he was murder on third down.

Yep, and it would not have happened had JJ Watt stayed for his senior season. QB's would not have had time.

It would have been UW vs. LSU for the MNC.

I voted for Cousins.
