The tunnel and locker room configuration in Michigan Stadium has been as it is for nearly 100 years and its not like Michigan and Sparty have been kissing cousins before this.  The BS on Saturday night and with Penn State at halftime is something new.  Between the officials, coaching staffs, game security and law enforcement they should be able to prevent it.  Michigan State's president and Coach Tucker have done the right thing.

Both teams leaving the field at the same time may be peaceful, if you are from Penn State. BrennanCam: Penn State Post Michigan Tunnel Scene - YouTube , or maybe not if you are Penn State: Michigan-Penn State get into halftime scuffle in Michigan Stadium tunnel - YouTube I have no issue with the perspective you project. I am projecting a way toward peacefulness.
There have been issues 2 consecutive weeks. If Michigan Stadium has a 100-year projected future lifespan, and there are 200 incidents the next 100-years, this is the time to solve it, rather than wait 30-years.
Correct or sportsman ship the point is it was the process and the place.Don't spend millions in renovation - just have one team at a time enter.13 other stadiums around the BIG have not had this problem yet 3x in the last 7 games there problems erupt. Harbaugh behaves like a juvenile in detentiion and it gets irksome,he encourages disrespect. The week before the PSU game there James Franklin brought up the issue and no one paid attention. Then sure as shyt the same damn thing happened and that waterhead Jeem calls out the very man who warned this would happen "The Ringleader" but wouldn't discuss it further because he had bigger fish to fry - there's the problem. The only thing fried are his circuits

There is no architectural problem.  There is no justification for such violence off the field and it should not be tolerated.  I hope the judge sentences the Sparty players to cleaning up trash in and around Michigan Stadium.

as with everything, the head coach is responsible for the discipline and actions of the players

perhaps the entire team should be reminded of the "tunnel" before a game at the big house, but this type of crap should be addressed shjortly after fall practice starts for the incoming first year players.

as they should.

NFL should've suspended Aaron Donald for all of 2022 season after he did the same thing. A 300 pound freakishly strong/explosive freakish athlete swinging a freaking helmet as a weapon could kill someone if they hit them in the skull.

Idk why these idiots think they can just swing helmets around like weapons. Someone needs to be made an example of so they'll stop doing it. NFL had the opportunity to really do that with Aaron Donald....but...nope.

Didn't Myles Garrett get suspended for doing it a couple years ago?

yeah for like 6 games. Should've been a full year suspension. They need to crack down on this sh*t at both levels. You swing that helmet like a weapon- you're done for the year. Should be a MIN suspension of 1 full season. It should not be tolerated, period.

I just looked it up and you are correct, it was only 6 games. But it was the 2nd longest suspension in NFL history, 2nd only to Oakland Raiders lineback Vontaze Burfict due to his ejection for a helmet to helmet hit on Colt's tight end Jack Doyle.

Quote
One of the more recent long-term suspension from an on-field incident happened during this past season with Oakland Raiders' linebacker Vontaze Burfict. During the Raiders' week 4 game against the Indianapolis Colts, Burfict landed a helmet-to-helmet hit on Colts' tight end Jack Doyle and was ejected from the game. After being ejected, the NFL announced that Burfict would be suspended for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs, 12 games in total, which marked the longest punishment in NFL history for a single on-field incident. Burfict's suspension was much longer than Garrett's mainly due to Burfict's three previous suspensions, which cost him four games in 2018, five games in 2017 and three games in 2016.
