My local ABC affiliate owned by Mission Broadcasting is having a dispute with DirecTV who dropped them once the existing contract expired.  So it looks like I'll be watching this game Saturday night on ESPN+.  The wife likes some of the ABC network programming and we can still get that by streaming it.  No local news but I can get that from other local stations.  It seems like this spat just shoots the local station who Mission Broadcasting owns in the ass but I don't know a whole lot about this stuff.

Certainly seems that way.  Long way to go there though.  Still just a HS sophomore
yeah, really long ways to go. sounds like OSU is still very much in it as well. Problem is OSU has got the #1 QB in 2024 class and Michigan is trending heavily right now for the #2 QB in the 2024 class Jadyn Davis. Underwood might not want to follow a 5* QB.

Kid goes to Belleville, and his HS head coach and Harbaugh hate each other, so I'm not really getting my hopes up, but it does sound like he might be one to stick closer to home than to go far away for his college ball....so they might have a shot.

getting back to this game...

feel like last year it took a really bad call of an overturn of a defensive TD + the MSU home field advantage + the main factor- Kenneth Walker III- who btw is looking like the emerging #1 candidate in the NFL for Offensive Rookie of the Year- completely taking over the game to get the W. Dude probably should've been the Heisman winner or at worst runner up and he most definitely should've been a 1st rd pick. Bills royally fkd up not picking him in the 1st rd- that team would be damn near unbeatable with Walker on it right now.

stranger things have happened...but this one is at home at night for Michigan and MSU doesn't have #9 walking through that door. If Michigan doesn't take care of business at home at night...man...it's going to be baaad. Jeem has to let it rip and open the offense up and try to bury these guys.

According to ESPN, cheapest tickets are $200, more than double OSU-PSU ($78)

seems weird, but could be a feature of it being a night game vs PSU a noon kick off.

re: JJ McCarthy- not saying he's going to be Andrew Luck- but in Luck's first year as a starter at Stanford playing under Harbaugh's run heavy scheme in 2009 as a RS Fr. - he was 57% completion, 2,575 passing yards, 8.9 Yards Per Attempt, and 13 TD vs 4 INT, and a 143.5 Passer Rating. His second year starting in the system? 70.7% completion, 3,348 passing yards, 9 Yards Per Attempt, 32 TD vs 8 INT, and a 170.2 Passer Rating.

JJ's first year so far he's at 77.1%, 1,297 passing yards, 9 Yards per Attempt, 9 TD vs 2 INT, and a 170.6 Passer Rating. Maybe they really don't need him to be THAT DUDE right now, and it's more likely they'll just keep building and adding things and giving him more and more on his plate as they go along and he gets more experience under his belt, and next year will be the year he really breaks out and makes a leap?

I love Kanye. Probably the greatest, most influential artist in popular music of the last 25 years. But it's pretty clear to me the dude is off his rocker. Not sure you can be that famous plus that prolific at producing music, being a rapper, and at creating a hugely successful fashion label all at once and not be bat-shit crazy. I don't think it's possible. It'd honestly would be crazy if he wasn't crazy.
