Title: Michigan State (1-4, 3-5) at #4 Michigan (5-0, 8-0) Post Game
Post by: Mdot21 on October 23, 2022, 11:18:11 AM
this one is a big one. throw out all the records in this rivalry. whacky isht happens in this game- just does. it's a night game in Ann Arbor and the crowd should be rocking. Michigan owes Michigan State some pay back after the last two seasons. I'll be relieved with a W even if it's by one, but have to be honest- hoping for them to take out some frustrations from the past couple years on Sparty this game. I want to see them destroy Sparty physically worse than they destroyed Penn State. Jeem needs a W in this matchup worse than he needs one in C-Bus at the end of the year in Columbus imo. IF he don't have this team out for blood and ready to level Michigan State by 40 something is seriously wrong. IF god forbid Jeem drops this game- he should just jump off the Ambassador Bridge. Shoot I might. This is a MUST win at home at night.

Urbz breaks down Michigan's DL below. Mazi Smith and Mike Morris are really good. Going to suck losing them to the NFL after this year. RS Frosh Rayshaun Benny at the 4:10 mark...wow.

If UM doesn't handle the hapless MSU by several scores, they've no argument for being in the top ten much less in the CFP..... meanwhile, MSU has only the pressure of a rivalry game on their plate.   One with everything to lose and who really needs a good or at least ranked opponent to beat, and the other with everything to gain.

This is a bad recipe if you're a UM fan.

could be worse for Jimmy

Sparty could have a formidable team

Wolverines can play below average and still get the "W"

agreed. MSU has nothing to lose and everything to gain. They're kinda playing with house money. Jeem seems to crap the bad in this one for whatever reason despite having better roster 1-85 most of these match ups. He needs to pull his head out of his ass and bury these guys.

Night game. At home. Maize/Blue Out? If you're Jeem you HAVE to beat these guys into submission. If you don't...OH MAN.

My favorite and probably the best, most competitive, hotly contested rivalry since Dantonio revived it of any in the nation. No one gave Sparty much chance last season and Walker III trapsed about.Hope this game sticks to the script.Thought I read Jeem is 1-3 in AA for this game

Perhaps but a thin roster if you're a Spartans fan factoring defensive injuries. But stranger things have happened

I honestly hate Michigan State and whoever decided to let them into the Big Ten. It's hurt Michigan greatly over the years having a 2nd in-state school in the B1G. Those aholes in Columbus don't have a pesky just won't go away in-state rival to deal with for in-state talent and Ohio produces double or even triple the amount of HS football talent that the state of Michigan does. It's bullshit. Ohio St brass actively tried to keep Ohio and Cincinnati down and out of the B1G for years. Michigan should've threatened to leave the conference and implode it back in the day and went independent to stop it from ever happening. Michigan would be a better program if they were able to get whoever they wanted in-state and didn't have to lose those players to Sparty. Still salty about it. Ohio can afford another program- it produces enough FBS level football players. Michigan can't- the state produces very little in comparison to Ohio. I say we make Cincinnati join the B1G and start taking players away from Ohio State. See how much they like it.

Tech has poor facilities, poor recent history, a location many won't like much, and some academic requirements that are onerous for some.

They have had good football in the past of course, mostly distant past.

The Wolverines are playing host to the Spartans, and are seeking to remain perfect in 2022. The Spartans have won 2-straight in the series, giving the Wolverines their only regular-season loss in 2021.

Michigan is planning a special show for the matchup. For the previous 5 seasons or so, the song ‘Mr. Brightside’ by The Killers has been played inside The Big House, usually near the end of the 3rd quarter.

In the Week 9 tilt with Michigan State, expect more of the same, but with a twist. According to Alejandro Zuniga of 247 Sports, Michigan is preparing to unveil a light show to go with the song during the 2nd half.

Michigan is a 23 point favorite according to draftkings. Wouldn't touch that- this could be much closer than that. But at the same time this will be a night game at home....and if these players don't take this personal and feel like they owe Sparty an ass whopping and bring their A+ game- I'll be kinda disappointed. FK I'm not even a player and I wanna kick those guys asses soooooo bad. Hopefully they take this one personal and want to bully and humiliate them.

Your Ohio thing sorta contradicts itself.

If Ohio recruiting is so great, then how could there possibly not be a Michigan State/Pitt caliber program emerging from its midst, over the years? These other Ohio teams are among the absolute dregs of college football, and they are doing it with mostly Ohio recruits (probably). Ohio CFB outside of OSU has just been embarrassingly abysmal, historically. Ohio produces enough top end talent to give OSU a pretty formidable base roster upon which to build, and that's about it.

You may have stumbled across a reason Notre Dame doesn't want anything to do with the Big Ten though. If having a conference foe in your state is that big of a pain in the ass, then why would they sign up to have two?

Michigan is favored at home by 21.5 points.  That may be a bit much even if there is no chance Michigan overlooks Sparty or takes their foot off the gas at any point.  State will bring it all and it'll be a violent nasty football game, as usual, where the unexpected and goofy shit frequently happens.

Another reason why they might not cover- Harbaugh doesn't care about stats or style points. He's not going to leave his starters in late if he's up by 30 points in the 4th QTR (*cough* Ryan Day *cough*) and then keep them in to get up more (*cough* Ryan Day *cough*). He's also just going to play prevent defense and quit attacking and drop 8 into deep zones and give up easy cheap stuff under neath and let the other team pile up garbage time yards and points. That's his MO. He takes his foot off the gas pedal.

Yeah most do. And I agree with that. I was referring to Day keeping the 1’s in up 30 on Iowa in the 4th and letting CJ throw touchdown bombs just to pad stats for the hypesman trophy and make the win look more secksi for the idiot pollsters on a battered and broken Iowa D that had fought its ass off for 3 QTRs only for its woefully inept offense to keep gifting OSU points and field position and keeping the D on the field all game long to gas out.

Iowa was down 30 in the 4th, which let’s face it with their offense might as well be like being down 100. Day kept the 1’s in and let CJ throw a 79 yard TD bomb to go up 37 and then kept him in up 37 to try to get up 44 with just mins left in the game. The douche bag is strong with that one 😂

this is a big recruiting weekend for Michigan, 2024 5* QB Jadyn Davis of North Carolina will be in Ann Arbor for the game for what seems like only his 57th trip to Ann Arbor. Michigan needs him desperately after missing out on a pair of in-state 5* QB's- 2023 Dante Moore who has committed to Oregon and 2024 CJ Carr (grandson of Lloyd Carr) who has committed to Notre Dame. Moore seems to have continually climbed up the 2023 recruit rankings, and Davis seems to be climbing up the 2024 rankings whereas CJ Carr seems to be sliding in them- apparently Carr has had a pretty bad junior year so far. Which is a bit concerning because he doesn't exactly play tough HS competition.

Jeem desperately needs a W over Sparty and he desperately needs the 5* QB Davis to pull the trigger and commit and start building the 2024 class and get some 'crootin momentum.

think it was a bulging disc in his back or something like that. he's done for the year obviously, which sucks because he is by far their best TE- and he's also probably done at Michigan. Have a feeling he's going to measure in at 6'4+ and 250+ at the NFL combine and run a really fast time for a TE and have a nice vertical and wind up getting drafted. Really no reason for him to comeback and risk re-injury at this point.

You can actually just pick this game based on whether MSU is good or not.  The last time Michigan beat a Michigan State team that finished with fewer than 6 losses?  2003, when MSU was a stellar 8-5.

Since then, over 18 seasons, MSU has finished with 5 or fewer losses exactly half the time.

When MSU has 5 or fewer losses: MSU 9-0
When MSU has 6 or more losses: UM 8-1

MSU would need QUITE the turnaround to finish with fewer than 6 losses

Yeah, but if you flip it, MSU has plenty of wins over decent UM teams.

Doing the same time period:

UM with 5 or fewer losses: UM 8-5
UM with 6 or more losses: MSU 5-0

So yes, a bad Michigan can't beat MSU, but MSU has beaten multiple decent to good UM teams, while UM hasn't beaten a an MSU team with fewer than 5 losses in 20 years.

Big wins are what trigger such turnarounds.

Like 2016 PSU, who was a completely different team after knocking off OSU.

not to mention- that 2016 PSU that knocked off Ohio State had a similar horror show earlier that year in Ann Arbor to the one they just had. Believe Michigan merc'd Penn State 49-7 that year. That Penn State team that lost by 42 points in Ann Arbor wound up beating Ohio State and winning the B1G. Could happen again. Doubtful. But it could. Franklin is 0-10 vs Top 10 teams since that season.

I heard 2 stats that I have not confirmed, going into the White Out.
That Penn State was like 8-7 in White Out games, it's not some massive advantage (although it would be 9-7 now)
And that in 4 of the last 5 seasons PSU lost their 1st and 2nd games in back to back weeks

How can you ever be fine with Michigan rolling Sparty?   I think Michigan can win this game handily but I'm paranoid.  I think my paranoia dates back to 1978 and sitting in the student section of Michigan Stadium watching unranked Sparty and Kirk Gibson upset my #5 Wolverines.

shaping up to be a huge recruiting weekend for Michigan. Just hope they don't sh*t the bed in the fkn game. They could come out of this one with some big time 'crootin momentum with a big win.

2025 5* QB Bryce Underwood will in the house. Could just wind up being a Michigan-MSU battle for his LOI. The state of Michigan has produced a 5* QB in 2023 (Dante Moore- Oregon), 2024 (CJ Carr- Notre Dame), and 2025 (Bryce Underwood) classes. And Bryce Underwood is by far the best of that bunch imo. Underwood is going to wind up being the #1 overall player in his class imo. He's a 6'3+ freakish athlete with a huge arm that is actually a year young for his grade.

My local ABC affiliate owned by Mission Broadcasting is having a dispute with DirecTV who dropped them once the existing contract expired.  So it looks like I'll be watching this game Saturday night on ESPN+.  The wife likes some of the ABC network programming and we can still get that by streaming it.  No local news but I can get that from other local stations.  It seems like this spat just shoots the local station who Mission Broadcasting owns in the ass but I don't know a whole lot about this stuff.

yeah, really long ways to go. sounds like OSU is still very much in it as well. Problem is OSU has got the #1 QB in 2024 class and Michigan is trending heavily right now for the #2 QB in the 2024 class Jadyn Davis. Underwood might not want to follow a 5* QB.

Kid goes to Belleville, and his HS head coach and Harbaugh hate each other, so I'm not really getting my hopes up, but it does sound like he might be one to stick closer to home than to go far away for his college ball....so they might have a shot.

getting back to this game...

feel like last year it took a really bad call of an overturn of a defensive TD + the MSU home field advantage + the main factor- Kenneth Walker III- who btw is looking like the emerging #1 candidate in the NFL for Offensive Rookie of the Year- completely taking over the game to get the W. Dude probably should've been the Heisman winner or at worst runner up and he most definitely should've been a 1st rd pick. Bills royally fkd up not picking him in the 1st rd- that team would be damn near unbeatable with Walker on it right now.

stranger things have happened...but this one is at home at night for Michigan and MSU doesn't have #9 walking through that door. If Michigan doesn't take care of business at home at night...man...it's going to be baaad. Jeem has to let it rip and open the offense up and try to bury these guys.

I love Kanye. Probably the greatest, most influential artist in popular music of the last 25 years. But it's pretty clear to me the dude is off his rocker. Not sure you can be that famous plus that prolific at producing music, being a rapper, and at creating a hugely successful fashion label all at once and not be bat-shit crazy. I don't think it's possible. It'd honestly would be crazy if he wasn't crazy.

He found Hassan Haskins and was the lead guy on Corum, Gray, Zach Charbonnet, and Donovan Edwards. Dude was a beast on the 'crootin trail. Sounds like possibly even some high profile 5* and 4* committed to other schools as well. Flip-season? Probably more top kids than I can remember for a single game visit. The night games make it easier for the visits, so yeah do more of them please. If Jeem can't get a single commit coming out this weekend, something seriously wrong man.

Michigan State Spartans (1-3, 3-4) at #4 Michigan Wolverines (4-0, 7-0)
7:30 - Ann Arbor, MI - ABC
The last time I felt this way about this game was 2016.  Michigan State had controlled the recent results, and was having a down year, while Michigan was rolling and coming off a loss in the series that they felt they should have won.  It's the last time I felt like the game meant as much to Michigan as it did to Michigan State, and I get similar vibes this year.  Granted that game was in East Lansing, but that Michigan State team was WAY more down than this team, and I'm not sure how much home field advantage that was.  Michigan controlled early, Michigan State battled back, and it was closer than expected.  That Spartan team had some major locker room issues, but I think also had more talent.  I'm not sure how Michigan State stops Michigan.  The Spartans run defense is getting healthier, with the return last week of both starting defensive tackles, in Simeon Barrow and Jacob Slade, who had missed multiple games with injury, and the bye week should only help things.  Is that enough against a Michigan offensive line that absolutely carved up Penn State on the ground the last we saw them.  Or will Michigan just do what Minnesota did, and say, screw it, you can't stop anyone through the air.  Cade McNamera had no problem carving up the Spartan secondary last year, with season highs in completions (28), attempts (44), and yards (383).  So Harbaugh has shown a willingness to just torch Michigan State through the air, similar to what Fleck did with Tanner Morgan.  I expect Michigan State to certainly throw the ball plenty, with as poor as their run blocking has looked.  The one position of depth the Spartans appear to have is pass catchers, between receiver, with Jayden Reed back and healthy, and a pair of sure handed tight ends, who also struggle to block.  Michigan State is going to give up yards, and have to force Michigan to rely on field goals in the red zone, as they did last year.  Problem is Michigan's offensive line looks actually better to me than it did last year, so I don't think they have as much trouble fighting Sparty in a confined space.
MICHIGAN 37, MICHIGAN STATE 14

Attempted murder it was not. Unacceptable behavior it was.
It has been turned over to law enforcement. In fact, a law enforcement officer, in another video, can be seen grabbing one of the MSU players. Based solely on my review of the videos, and the comments of J. Harbaugh concerning injuries, at least one or more of the perpetrators is likely to be charged criminally with assault inflicting serious or aggravated injury.

According to Stadium authorities they did learn from last game. Michigan Admins were vocal about placing additional security in the tunnel for this game. Whether this made a difference, it doesn’t look like it did.

In fairness it shouldn't be an unpaid job for lifelong donors.  They are catching strays for not intervening, and I don't blame them for not doing so

I said the same, he fucked around.  All the MSU players should be done for the year.  There is zero excuse, for overreacting to that extent, and MSU needs to get in front of it.  But then we get "attempted murder" clowns out there.  The racist narratives towards Mel Tucker are also terrifying, but that's the world I suppose.  You have a black head coach, and he's a guy who can't control his players.  We saw it literally last week with UM-PSU

No, as I've done for a decade, I've merged common threads.  But once it became apparent you needed to call them attempted murderers, which is literally the most extreme take I've seen, and that not calling them that in posts was enough for you, I let you have your fun, cluttering the board with repeat topics, to ensure you could include it in the subject.  Even the most extreme voice in the room is a voice

Both teams leaving the field at the same time may be peaceful, if you are from Penn State. BrennanCam: Penn State Post Michigan Tunnel Scene - YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTuyuUDWo2g) , or maybe not if you are Penn State: Michigan-Penn State get into halftime scuffle in Michigan Stadium tunnel - YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNqM2GmKJXE) I have no issue with the perspective you project. I am projecting a way toward peacefulness.
There have been issues 2 consecutive weeks. If Michigan Stadium has a 100-year projected future lifespan, and there are 200 incidents the next 100-years, this is the time to solve it, rather than wait 30-years.

The tunnel and locker room configuration in Michigan Stadium has been as it is for nearly 100 years and its not like Michigan and Sparty have been kissing cousins before this.  The BS on Saturday night and with Penn State at halftime is something new.  Between the officials, coaching staffs, game security and law enforcement they should be able to prevent it.  Michigan State's president and Coach Tucker have done the right thing.

perhaps the entire team should be reminded of the "tunnel" before a game at the big house, but this type of crap should be addressed shjortly after fall practice starts for the incoming first year players.

as they should.

NFL should've suspended Aaron Donald for all of 2022 season after he did the same thing. A 300 pound freakishly strong/explosive freakish athlete swinging a freaking helmet as a weapon could kill someone if they hit them in the skull.

Idk why these idiots think they can just swing helmets around like weapons. Someone needs to be made an example of so they'll stop doing it. NFL had the opportunity to really do that with Aaron Donald....but...nope.

I just looked it up and you are correct, it was only 6 games. But it was the 2nd longest suspension in NFL history, 2nd only to Oakland Raiders lineback Vontaze Burfict due to his ejection for a helmet to helmet hit on Colt's tight end Jack Doyle.

Quote
One of the more recent long-term suspension from an on-field incident happened during this past season with Oakland Raiders' linebacker Vontaze Burfict. During the Raiders' week 4 game against the Indianapolis Colts, Burfict landed a helmet-to-helmet hit on Colts' tight end Jack Doyle and was ejected from the game. After being ejected, the NFL announced that Burfict would be suspended for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs, 12 games in total, which marked the longest punishment in NFL history for a single on-field incident. Burfict's suspension was much longer than Garrett's mainly due to Burfict's three previous suspensions, which cost him four games in 2018, five games in 2017 and three games in 2016.

Tough to take the Wolverines seriously when they retain a basketball HC that assaults people in the handshake line, and after their stunt where the whole team jumped Dontre Wilson on a Kick Return that looked like the tunnel scene a few years back. They've been pulling this crap for years, and now they want to "whine" like James Franklin after getting just a small dose of their own medicine. GMAFB.

I agree, and I think a criminal charge will be filed. The result of the criminal charge will probably be a suspended sentence, restitution, and probation. But it will in some sense vindicate the important state interest in peaceable assembly.

Video clearly shows #4 Jacoby Windmon throwing punches.  Windmon should be suspended at a minimum.  This also casts doubt on Michigan State’s ability to deal with the problem with Windmon having previously been portrayed as someone trying to help and break it up.  Only thing Windmon was trying to break up was Green’s face.  Windmon was Big Ten player of the week three times this year and must outweigh Green by 100+ lbs.

And FYI Green was rushing in the tunnel to get to the locker room to see his dad.

Nobody other than indoctrinated UM fans take anything Harbaugh says seriously anymore.  He openly lies, and the Detroit media will never call him on it. But the video is the video.  He came in swinging his helmet.  That's assault.  That should be prosecuted
yeah, not the biggest fan of Jeem as a person or coach, but he seems to be getting the job done...kinda remarkable that he turned the program around after the absolute bombing they took at the hands of OSU in 2019 and the disastrous sub .500 COVID year in 2020. Did not think he had it in him. After a really solid start in 2015 in which he was an executed punt away from being 11-2 in his first year and a sophomore season in 2016 when he was basically a 50/50 spot call away in a double OT game from being B1G champ and in the playoff- the program started steadying off in 2017 & 2018, OSU broke them in 2019 and 2020 was a disaster. I thought he was finished. Kinda remarkable that they're 20-2 in the last 22 games from that point on.

they don't have security cameras in the tunnels apparently....or if they do...they bought them at the same place that prison that Epstein was at in NY bought their cameras from.

Well that is one way to compare it. But you have to exercise good judgement when moving through life. But what I was really referring to is was he simply trying to get through the tunnel, trash talking, shoving his way thru. If the attack was really unprovoked then by all means the other players should be punished. But if he was stirring shit up, and believe it or not he found some trouble then boo freaking hoo. I’m betting that more comes from this story.  The only question is will the media report the full story?

It's UM's culture to be victimized by violence?

You undestand that, don't you?  The UM players were the victims here.  They were physically attacked.

Spin it anyway you want precious  3x thicko in their last 7 games there. And of course you didn't watch that video with 22 following the spartans dropping F bombs and of course you know what happened after that right. From the legal (does not impact football) side, things are getting more interesting.  The attorney retained by the Michigan player first potentially violated MI ethics rules for attorneys, and then revealed that UM may be a party to their lawsuit, so that's thrown a couple things for a loop

Some thoughts. It is possible to be both a culture and structural problem. Culture because Mel Tucker has to clean up a lot of leftover stupidity from the Dantonio era, and Little Jimmy needs to knock off the whining. It's a lot like when Jerry Kill and Paul Chryst had to clear a lot of leftover stupidity from the Bret-Brew era.

My first thought is that the Washtenaw County Attorney's Office wouldn't spend much time on this. However, I was out of town and didn't see any of the videos until yesterday. I've since upped the likelihood of criminal charges to 50/50. Running your mouth doesn't warrant an escalation of force.

The retention of counsel by the beaten up player will be for civil actions against the aggressors, MSU, and UM, not pressing of charges.

When a system is failing at a 3-times-of-7 clip, with frequent reports of past problems of a similar nature, this is a structural problem with the system. I'll readily admit to not knowing what the subgrade looks like below Michigan Stadium, but the University better start finding out.

You knew this story wasn’t going away the rest of the week. The Valenti Show (Spartan fans) lays out where Michigan contributed to their share of the tension, starting with Harbaugh:

“Michigan has had three incidents in this stupid tunnel. They had security. There were state troopers there…this is the best part – Harbaugh gets up there and, I mean, clutching of the pearls, acting like it was the Kennedy assassination. You got Blake Corum up in the postgame talking about Mel Tucker saying all I saw was him running. You got fans putting there hands on Mel Tucker. And it all comes from your head coach.”

“…the rivalry was never like this before Jim got here. MSU has won ten of the last fifteen years and you haven’t seen a single incident [from MSU]. Because MSU is more focused on getting Pauly B [the Trophy]. We’re going to party. When you [Michigan] wins that’s not how it rolls. You had an incident in ‘18 when you trashed the locker room. MSU never released the footage. You had the Spartan walk with Devin Bush. You’ve had the revenge tour t-shirts and the parading of Pauly B and the damn-near clash in that year. Guys, it’s simple. There’s no respect in this rivalry. At all.”

“My overriding point is both sides are culpable at different levels. The rivalry is reaching a point where I’m telling you – you’ll laugh at me – but it’s getting dangerous and it goes to the next level. I’m telling you the next step is it bleeds over to the fan base.”

The incident Saturday night where at least 8 Michigan State players assaulted two Michigan players.  By far the worst thing to happen in that tunnel in 95 years.

The second incident going back in time being Dennis Franklin intentionally dragging ass going into their locker room at halftime keeping Michigan out of theirs.  The teams jawed at each other and the Nitts threw a couple PB&Js still in their wrappers.  Coach Harbaugh correctly called Franklin out on this BS.

The third and fourth incident links both go back to halftime of The Game last year.  Video of Michigan following the Buckeyes up the tunnel and yelling at them.  And I saw one Michigan player giving them the double bird.  I'll assume your 4th link was to something similar in 2013?  I think that was the year OSU player Marcus Hall was booted for targeting or something and gave the crowd the double finger going into the tunnel escorted by OSU staff?

The yelling at each other, impolite gestures, and airborne food are pretty minor stuff.  No one gets hurt.  That's not the case with what Michigan State's players pulled.  The tunnel did not cause it.  The lack of security did not cause it.

Thank you for this opportunity to pontificate.

Um no Michigan's whole teams has pounced on other unsuspecting squads.Have your handler point out 22 trailing the Spartans in the tunnel dropping f-bombs & telling them to get F***** .This after another altercation on the field and he couldn't help himself following up.The Stadium cameras don't catch anymoreWhy is that? Why not keep running the film. That would be menacing outside of the stadium,Ask your Antifa affiliates how they'd handle that disinformation campaign precious. You saw,LMAO what you want to How about the YT video proving they were doing it 8 yrs back where they barge out the door as the opponents are minding their own business. It was only a matter of time before it blew up in their face and circle around and bit them in the arse - much like your posts

Three wolverine fights with 3 different contenders not taking appropriate measures in the same tunnel. When will the winningest program in history start acting like they've been there before.Congrats on making the SEC look civil.LoL watch the troll who went looking for trouble find it.Why were their cameras not running or were they but that is all the footage they released,LoL.I hope legal actions move forward, usual bang up protection provided by the university security teams

You're like frothing at the mouth over this.

It's pretty fucking simple:  words do not equal physical altercation.

You took the side of Antifa princess why should anyone be shocked by your bent drivel.Pretty F****** simple It's been brought to their attention several times prior. Because your head is up your gender bending backside and you choose not to see it. They are also responsible for providing a safe and secure environment and failed to do so.And the cameras stopped running, wait until everything goes to court - go set some squad cars on fire you'll feel better pud.

Wait, I’m confused by your stance. Are you blaming Michigan for what Spartan players did, then got suspended for?

Post anything I've said supporting antifa.
Post anything I've said about transgender people other than they should be treated the same as everyone else.

I'm not the radical liberal Macy's Thanksgiving Day balloon you want me to be.  You're irrationally bringing up unrelated points here, over and over.  You've lost the argument and now you're losing your mind.  Publicly.

His stance is whatever the opposite of what I say is, even if that makes no sense.  He's lost it.

All of you have proved my point that the structural issue of the tunnel layout is part of the problem.

Mel Tucker properly delayed comment, as I would have done because of the serious criminal implications for the young MSU students, involved. Tucker properly responded with suspensions and brief comments. I am quite pleased with the response.

Where else is the Michigan tunnel layout duplicated? It may not be unique, but at the FBS level, it seems unusual. Structural people can improve social issues. Why not improve such issues. Why attribute this solely to idiocracy? Idiocracy is widespread.

Agree.  Mel Tucker and Michigan State's administration have handled it appropriately to date.

How do you know this?  The video I saw only showed two Michigan players being beaten by numerous Sparty football players.  Please share the video or your source of the Michigan players pouncing on the unsuspecting Spartan squad.  If Michigan players were punching, kicking, or swinging helmets they should be suspended too.

I think this may be a case of delayed Buckeye butt hurt over the 2021 loss in Ann Arbor.  Its hard to say for sure since there have been so few cases in recent years.  But going 1068 days since Ohio State last beat Michigan might be enough to bring it on.  That and the small but definite chance that the Wolverines might win in Columbus this year.

I'm hardly distraught of a fanboy/program whose teams have won what two games in the past to 2 decades and even cancelled a game. What part of your program having 3 different altercations in the last 7 games THERE with 3 different teams can't you wrap your homer mind around? When the Franklin points it out he's called a "whiner" when it happens massive head wound Harbaugh calls him the ringleader when in fact he was trying to diffuse a situation that you slappies attempt to flip like you're the victims

I think charges might be overboard. Especially felony ones.

I think kicking them all off the team and out of school would’ve been adequate enough.

If I were the A.D. I would hire an architect.
The Athletic Director hired help to modify the tunnel. I didn't even have to send him my advice.
Michigan football to 'widen access' to Big House tunnel. Here's why (freep.com) (https://www.freep.com/story/sports/college/university-michigan/wolverines/2023/01/23/michigan-football-widen-access-lloyd-carr-tunnel-big-house-safety-review/69833752007/)

Jeem has had talks with San Fransisco 49ers QB's coach and former Michigan QB Brian Griese about the vacant QB coach job.

I think that'd be a really god damn good hire if he can pull it off and a massive upgrade over Matt Weiss- who was nothing but a Harbs family slappy errand boy anyway.

Jeem has also spoken to Stanford QBs coach Tavita Pritchard and the Baltimore Ravens' Tee Martin. Easy choice. Tee Martin. Martin was an ace recruiter at Kentucky and USC. Griese has only coached NFL, has never recruited. Pritchard isn't known for being a recruiter. Plus Stanford has sucked for a hot minute so yeah, no thanks.
