Michigan State (2-6, 4-7) at Indiana (1-7, 3-8) Post Game
« on: November 15, 2023, 09:22:00 AM »
Showdown between the two Big Ten teams likely looking for a new coach next year.

Road team has won 3 in a row, and 4 of the last 5.

If there's ever been a case of a team winning almost solely off special teams, it was Indiana in this game last year, which knocked MSU out of a bowl game.  MSU outgained Indiana 540-288, and Indiana had half of those yards on 2 long runs.

But Indiana also had a kickoff return for a TD, another kickoff return past midfield, a pick six, and MSU missed a 22 yard FG on the final play of regulation that would have won it

We both did.  I spent my freshman year there before transferring.  He went there for grad school

Do you hear from him at all on social media?
I do not.  I think Graham Mertz killed his online presence

Sam Leavitt didn't play last week, so his redshirt is still in place.  Still think playing him against Nebraska was dumb considering that Noah Kim is still hurt, and QB4 is a walk on freshman.  So now if Houser gets hurt you either have to burn the redshirt or play the freshman walk on.

Save that 4th game for now, and either play him, or save him for the final game with no risk.  If this is Game 4, I'm fine, because we are losing to Penn State either way, so if you want to play him here, to try and beat Indiana, and then throw the 19 year old walk on out there for what is a loss either way, fine

Figured they'd make that FG, and we'd miss a PAT

Badass late TD pass for MSU!
