If Bama loses to UGA, I'll ... have a beverage or three.

Great menu.  I would struggle to choose.  Might go for the Gnocchi.

enjoy- and kick ass tomorrow.
Did i miss what Badge has going on? All i saw is 9:30 and not eating after midnight. I never like reading those circumstances.

Yeah, coronary artery surgery...

I'm having coronary artery surgery on Monday. The doctors are 95 percent confident that they can get this done with stents only, rather than crack me open. Won't know for certain until they get in there, but my fingers are crossed. I don't want to be in the zipper club.
Given the time, hopefully it's done and all repaired already, with only the PT/recovery remaining.

He was hopeful it would be only stents, not the big one.

My treatment was called a "procedure", not surgery.  They ran something up my femoral to cauterize the heart valve, and presto, I was cured.  Odd;y enough, they term my condition before that as being in cardiac arrest, which sounds really bad (and can be).  It was "just" a fluttering valve.

Clogged arteries is different of course, hopefully he has a stent and they are done quickly.

I had a block in my LAD artery removed and a stent put in two years ago.  They went in at each wrist and nibbled the clot away from each side.  It's amazing what they can do now days.  I was home and walking same day later in the afternoon.

Indeed it is, a reason for us older folks to get checked periodically, they can fix stuff early often pretty "simply", for us.

Sorry to hear, Badge.

Not to make you type much, I'm gathering:

  • They did go in via the less-invasive method and didn't insert the stent b/c they didn't like what they saw.
  • They also didn't crack you open because they weren't about to change surgeries on the fly.
  • You're now a candidate for the zipper club.

Blink twice if that's correct.
