I saw a list of the most streamed Christmas movies this year. It said it was compiled from multiple sites, and I cannot vouch for which sites. But the top three were Home Alone, Christmas Vacation, and Elf. I Love all three, no complaints. But where it got me was the headline being that people still prefer the classics. To me that's Holiday Inn or Wonderful Life. I guess I'm old enough that I need to accept Home Alone and Christmas Vacation, as being 30 years old. (I pointed out to my wife when Chevy blew the dust off the reel of "Christmas '59", that he was actually closer to that Christmas than we now are to the Christmas they are celebrating (1989). But Elf? That's like 15 years old.
Oddly #4 was Four Christmases, which I have always thought was underrated, but apparently everyone else likes it too
