Wishing you and yours - Hope, Health & Happiness. Laughter that echoes, peace that abides, and love that never fades. Safe Travels and I hope ya'll get Snow even you sunny saps below the Mason/Dixon. And have a mug of your favorite grog by the fire while taking it all in. And to those living/serving abroad - a Christmas that feels like home — no matter where they are.

Speaking of the solstics, my i s c & a aggie wife's sister just got married yesterday, she and her husband are both kind of hippies and they chose the solstice as their day.  It was a small, short, and sweet ceremony in my inlaws' backyard with a secular officiant who was a longtime friend of both of them.  Weather was great and it was a really nice day.
