I actually thought you might post something like that, in response to my post.

To me, I don't need a "day" because not a day goes by where I don't thank every one of them for my freedom.

I wasn't really responding to your post, I thought some here could appreciation the distinction if they hadn't known it before.

He would have been 36 this past March.  He was really someone with enormous potential.

My other two are 34 now, and fortunately both doing quite well.  We had a shadow box which we managed to donate to the Eyes of Freedom exhibit when my daughter moved from Columbus.  She would have no room in her new place.  They have added a lot to the original paintings now.

There's a section of a certain cemetery out this way that has my grandfathers parents and grandparents, along with their brothers and sisters, etc. When you visit it on Memorial Day weekend you encounter other groups of people who are descended from those same men and women; distant cousins from way down the family tree that you'd never encounter or even hear of under any other set of circumstances.

Kind of an interesting phenomenon.

Thank for sharing that Video CD.
I am about halfway through it and it’s extremely moving, extremely difficult to watch, but some thing you can’t take your eyes off of.  Thank you for your sacrifice/ which is beyond what my imagination can grasp completely.
