The Buckeyes were 29-4-1 with Colzie on the team.
1972 Big Ten Title.
1973 Big Ten Title.
1974 Big Ten Title.
1974 Defeated USC 42-21 to win the Rose Bowl.
Went 2-0-1 against That Team.

If this is the punt block TD return to end the game, I was going to make a thread about it.  Is there any other play that compares in terms of unlikelihood/timing?  It was like getting the 1 card you needed in a 6-deck shuffle, but more like a million deck shuffle.

I feel like Rocket Ismail's punt return TD that never was would have been similar.  But he was an obvious threat and the fact CU punted to him was a bad idea.  A punt block returned for TD is not something you ever anticipate. 

Hell, Florida had a very similar game under Muschamp, vs ULL, but that was a tie game if I recall correctly.  It didn't impossibly win the game while behind, but it was a last-play punt block TD.

Gramstad grew up in Lester, Iowa, as an avid Nebraska Cornhuskers fan.
He played high school football at West Lyon High School in Iowa, where he led his team to a state championship.
He started his college career at Northwestern College (NAIA) as a defensive back before transitioning to quarterback.
As a quarterback at Northwestern, he won an NAIA national championship in 2022 and was named the NAIA Player of the Year in 2023.
Following his success at Northwestern, Gramstad transferred to the University of Nebraska, joining the team as a walk-on (with potential NIL support) for his final year of eligibility.
He appeared in one game for Nebraska in the 2024 season, completing one pass for 11 yards.

#19 Thomas Heiberger Played in four games on special teams after missing time to start the season due to a lower body injury. No pictures that I can find. So we'll got with LB Nick Herbig here.

Can't forget about the guy who won Earle his last game, is in the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame, had 18 year NFL career, and won a Super Bowl in 2002

I can't think of one.  Maybe the Cal-Stanford play, but that's made weirder by the band aspect of it.  Miami had a very similar play against Duke, that nobody remembers

The 1999 Baylor-UNLV game comes to mind.  Baylor was on an 8-game losing streak, then brand new head coach Kevin Steele had yet to win a game, and the Bears had the ball deep in UNLV territory, with a first down, up by 3, and with no Rebel timeouts remaining.  Rather than kneel the ball and kill the clock, Steele decided he wanted to instill some toughness into the team and run the ball, trying for another TD.

Instead, Baylor fumbled, a UNLV player picked up the ball and ran the length of the field, scoring their winning TD as time expired.
