Lulz.  There's no such thing as twelving, but there's certainly "Alabamming."

That awesome defensive spectacle was a sight to behold.

LSU 53 - Miss 48
Miss St 51 - Missouri 32
'bama 52 - florida 46
I mean we might as well call it SEC~ing now. 

OSU is in the conversation pretty much every year. But they have been on the outside of the 4 just as much as in it.

So, they've gone four times in seven playoffs. 

One they missed when there were four conference champs with 1 or 0 losses and they got squeezed out of a Division title
One they had two losses, one a garish upset, and everyone above at 1 or 0 losses (the Bama case was mostly eye test that year, but was what it was)
The most interesting one was 2018, when there really wasn't much difference between Oklahoma and OSU, other than OSU played so-so for a chunk of the second half, and they couldn't turn the narrative boat around with a Michigan win and a so-so NW team in Indy. Granted, OSU avoided giving up 45 to Bama and was sluggish in the bowl, so no one was really complaining. 

So they had 5 or 6 playoff-level teams in seven years, depending how you feel about 2018. 

Don't forget 2015, where they likely would have been in the playoffs but for Sparty's magical punt block touchdown against Michigan

That's the first one. Do Buckeyes fans track that back to that game? I just figured there were a mess of weird things and nothing took the focus.

I take every opportunity possible to bring up that play.

But it's pretty crazy that but for that play, OSU would have played Iowa for the B1G and a playoff spot.

Ha. Or they coulda score 20 in the rain. 

That MSU team was very much a better record than it played.
