Nebraska's improvement has been dramatic. But lost this one on special teams play. Nebraska's field goal, and extra point kicking improved. But return team defense, return teams, and punting stunk.

Good for him.  Without that energy, we wouldn't have Scott Frost

well, the Blackshirts almost played up to their name
They did a fantastic job.  Best unit on the field.  MSU had one splash play on offense, one splash play on defense, and Nebraska's punt team was trash.  That was the game.

I'm also confused how a penalty on a return that could have ended the game is not simply enforced on the following possession. There was also a missed face mask, but that's par for the course
I noticed that too.  Its like once a team is interecpted,  they can commit any penalty they want to prevent the other team from returning it for a TD.

Now that I think about it, isn't there a rule that if an ineligible player runs onto the field to tackle a guy running for a TD, the other team is given a TD? Otherwise you might as well have the whole team run off from the sidelines to tackle the returner to prevent the TD.

You could use the same logic for other penalties on a  interception in overtime.  If the penalty helped prevent the returning team from scoring a TD,  they should be given the TD and the game is over.

The coverage on that punt return TD was unbelievably bad.  It wasn't a case of Nebraska missing a couple tackles,  but a case of there being absolutely no Nebraska players that ever came near the punt returner.  I wish I knew what happened.

MSU had two returners back, and it seemed like all of Nebraska's coverage team ran at the wrong guy.  I'm not sure I've ever seen it. It wasn't like the return on Thursday night, with the fake reverse, just every Nebraska player went the wrong way. My guess is they had an angled punt coverage on, and the punter kicked it the wrong direction. That's the only way that play made sense

Purdue is paying Brohm almost $6M a year to put up 13 points on the Illinois defense?

A win is a win, but WTF?!

Bielema punted today on 4th and 2 at the Purdue 34 in the 4th qtr.    Such an NFL coaching move.

Minnesota and it's not close.
Yes, having seen the highlights of both games I agree.

Wisconsin had the lead in the 4th, then peed down their leg.

The Gophers best plays were all ugly as hell, nearly resulting in turnovers.

A lot of ranked teams looked bad yesterday and lost or barely won, it was like an Upset Sat.

Tech beat UNC.  I had UNC on my list of teams over ranked (along with A&M), and UNC is worse than I expected.  I thought Clemson would be "OK" and they aren't.  The ACC is wide open now, not that it matters much.

Auburn nearly pulled a Tennessee.

This is exactly what happen according to Frost in the post game press conference.
