Ugh, I feel for you.  I have multiple friends with just one HS senior this year, and their descriptions of the situation are painful enough to hear.  Can't imagine dealing with it 2x.
Hopefully it gets fixed in time for your kids.

It was working just fine 4 years ago. Kids who came to us for tuition assistance were required to apply with FAFSA first. Our Promise Program money was the last money on the table (after all other tuition assistance was exhausted).

It worked out great.

I had to cease being on the College Foundation Board when we moved down here, but back in 2020 FAFSA was working just fine. This hack just simply f'd it up to no end. And yet his boss celebrates his accomplishments on the way out.

He should be canned too, along with his whole department.
Federal law has changed since then, which is why they have the new process. Certainly, delays and errors are not great, though I guess it's not particularly surprising to see lots of hiccups when changing something like that.

There was no reason to change the law. None.

The purpose was to simplify the process, and they made some fairly significant changes. I dunno, I keep in mind that whenever they open a bar or restaurant around here I always add 4-6 months to whatever their estimated opening date is. And they don't service millions of people.

ICC reportedly close to issuing arrest warrants for war crimes for Benjamin Netanyahu and a handful of other fascist punk thug criminals in his cabinet.

Biden working overtime to try and block this from happening. Of course.

If there is a god this will happen and that rat bastard punk thug criminal will be dragged into The Hague, prosecuted and convicted and sent to Milsoevic old prison block. Will never happen of course. Israel will never hand him over. But even the fact that the ICC is going to do this just shows how far deteriorated Israel’s standing in the world has become. Netanyahu has never wanted a two state solution, but he might’ve planted the seeds for one to come about in the near future more than any other Israeli leader due to his terrible miscalculations (turns out giving billions to a terror group is a BAD IDEA) and his psychopathic genocidal response to Hamas terrorist attacks.

The US isn't even one of the 10 largest funders of the ICC.

So...zero?

Oddly the two largest contributors are Japan and Germany.  Italy is #5.

Are you posting from a college campus with all the other morons?

they murdered people, raped women, burned babies, and beheaded children.  And most importantly vowed to do it every chance they get.

Is it a surprise the the response is scorched earth?
