I would have started at 62, but you're probably making too much money.
yup, would possibly bump me into the next tax bracket.
I'm not familiar with all the rules of SS.
I'll start asking those questions before the end of the year.

Mark your calendar - August 12, 2045. Right through Florida.
There's one on August 23, 2044 out in western North Dakota.

Yeah I'd travel to Spain for one, not sure  I'd travel to Western North Dakota though. :)

What's up with Boeing and how does it get fixed? Is it an engineering issue, or a factory issue?

Well geography's not the only issue.  There's also the fact that in 2044 I'll be 72 and you guys will be... well... older than that, hopefully.

I was randomly thinking about how vulnerable and expensive our carrier fleet is. We have by far the most carriers of any nation.  I’m not even sure any other nation has “real” carriers that launch anything other than harrier type planes or less capable warplanes with ski jump setups.

What would stop another nation from using a icbm type conventional weapon to take out a carrier?  With satellites I don’t think there is any mystery about where either ours or our adversaries major ships are at all times. It frightens me that an absurd amount of our military projected power could be easily taken out with relatively mature technology. I hope the military is prepared somehow for this possibility.
The introduction of the Type 093B signifies China’s strategic intent to deploy submarines as a counter to aircraft carriers and as a platform for land attacks, enabling strikes from significantly greater distances. This capability could alter the strategic balance in the Indo-Pacific region, as the Pentagon report suggests that up to three Type 093Bs could be operational within a year. China’s submarine fleet, now totaling 65 vessels, reflects the nation's continued naval expansion and the emphasis on enhancing its undersea warfare capabilities.
