Have we talked about the eclipse at all?  The path of totality runs right through Central Texas.  Austin is at the edge, but we're headed out to my BIL's property outside of Fredericksburg that will be almost exactly on the center line.  The property is still mostly undeveloped so we'll be camping in our RV for the weekend.  Taking lots of food, drinks, and plenty of guns to entertain ourselves until the sun goes away for about 4 minutes on Monday afternoon.

It runs almost to Columbus. We are going to someone's house fairly close to ours. I was going to try and go somewhere more central, but I hear traffic can be miserable and a house with bathrooms relatively close sounds good. Not sure the weather will cooperate, currently projected to be mostly cloudy.

My youngest son recently gained Journeyman Electrician status. He is making bank. A one year certificate program. GI bill paid for it.
