It's nice that you're so very very smart as compared with the rest of us here.

But, you need to dumb things down a bit so "we" can follow along.  I am easily confused.
brother I'm an idiot. you are most definitely way smarter than me.

Trump praises Truth Social after DWAC stock plunge (cnbc.com)

I've seen speculation some deep pocket types are trying to funnel money to Trump via this SPAC and the merged company, which would start trading tomorrow.  I can't find any real value in the proposition, at all.

TMTG, which owns the Trump Social platform that Trump used Saturday to proclaim his love for the app, reported losses of nearly $50 million over the first three financial quarters of 2023. It booked less than $3.5 million in revenue during that time.
anyone who wants to support him can just buy stock and hold it. no doubt he'll have a bunch of crazy ass fans who love him buy $500 here or $1,000 here. and wouldn't doubt for a second he'd have people with deep pocket types who support him buy the stock to prop up the value either.

i haven't been able to find anything on Truth Social, how many users it has, how much ad revenue it has. i can't imagine it's more than a 5 or 10 million users. if that.

I'm not. Sorry, I am ashamed to admit it. I'll try to tone it down.

But "we" mistreated the native Americans also (and continue to do it in large part).  What about THAT!?!?!?!?
we don't have to go back that far. that's all not on us either- the Spanish, British, Portuguese, and French pretty much wiped them out, we just finished off the job.

let's just stick to recent history. last 20 years would be fine. in that timespan we have destroyed Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Syria. Aided and armed the Saudi's to the teeth and helped them wipe out Yemen, have aided and armed Israel to the teeth and helped them commit a brutal inhumane occupation of the Palestinian people for the last 7-8 decades and are complicit in the absolutely horrific crimes being committed in Gaza these past few months.

stack up the body counts, no one comes close to the US. we ain't the good guys. there's no such thing as good guys. we're a nation of propagandized hypocrites. doesn't make much sense to me for Americans to point at this evil bad guy over there in the world and condemn him. what good does that do? make you feel like a good person? point out those crimes over there while ignoring your own? makes no sense to me. not much we can do about the affairs of other nations or crimes other nations commit or effect those outcomes. we can however do something here in this country to effect change in this country and move outcomes in this country with our votes. don't like the direction the republic is going? change it with your vote. we can and should recognize the crimes we commit and stop committing them.

Of course whataboutism is a real thing.  It's an extension of the tu quoque or ad hominem logical fallacy.  Using the logical fallacy of whataboutism immediately negates the counter-argument of the whataboutist.

I have one nephew, he's now 30. He can't bother himself to wake up in the morning to get to a job, so he's usually out of work.  He likes to have long, philosophical discussions about how "creatives" are tremendously under-appreciated in society, there's no place for them to earn a living.  He's always been on the artsy side, was in theater and choir in high school, but he doesn't currently do anything "creative"

And it's all complete bullshit.
A very good/old friend of mine has a 28 yr old son - same-same. He has no mental affliction, just a smug detached aloofness as he is not to be bothered. Work would interfere with longing around & doing God knows what on his cell phone all day over at either mom's or dad's place. Well his mother actually visits the food pantry that I've been volunteering at. So I told her to send Lax (lex is his name)so she wouldn't have to endure the torure of waiting in line for 15-45 minutes for 3 bags of groceries(I see where lax gets it from).

His father and the two other sons are polar opposites,Joe worked thru college and by 29 finished his master's.The other sons - one still in H.S. the other works warehouse/drives for UPS, both worked, played football, lacrosse or rugby. But lax was giving me flak and being difficult because he had to help us unload bulk food items, seperate and bag all of it(he's a weight lifter BTW) I tried to tell him he'd feel better about himself working at least 3 hrs one day to eat all week. He's one of the reason's I don't conceal/carry but I know his deceased Irish immigrant brick layer Grand dad would have shot him in the ass by now
