The Financial Times reports that the Biden administration is urging Ukraine to halt strikes on Russia's oil refineries.  I wonder what their motive is?
seriously? isn't it obvious. Biden admins motive is clearly not to further disrupt the global oil trade any further than this stupid easily avoidable war already has. last thing President Shitshis Diapers wants is for Ukraine to start blowing away Russian oil refineries and prices at the pump and at the grocery store to go up. President Fckface is up for re-election and he's getting his clocked cleaned in all the polls, losing every swing state he needs and is down like 6-7 points right now to Trump.

he's behind in all the polls to win re-election at this point, and he doesn't want inflation at the pump to creep back up and bury him- because it will.

Putin is Crazy.

He WILL use the nukes before he goes down.
Yeah, I don't think he is crazy. He's been in office for 25 years and has been an effective leader for Russia bringing it back from the absolute brink of being a failed state when he took over. He's basically just your run of the mill strong man dictator. He's far more intelligent, cunning, shrewd, and calculating than any leader we've had since probably the first Bush. Willy Clinton was about as corrupt as they come and more interested in getting his willy touched than leading. W was an absolute retard and one of the worst Presidents we've ever had. Obama was probably the biggest scam artist I've ever seen and a really weak and ineffective leader to boot. Trump's saving grace was he didn't get us into a bunch of new wars. And he was much better on trade than all those previous jokers. Biden is without question one of the worst Presidents we've ever had. Can't tell who is worse between W and Biden, but man it's fcking close.

Putin could use nukes if US/Europe get involved- and I'd say he probably would use them if US/Europe/NATO went to war with him- because at that point he would be backed into a corner with nothing to lose and likely have no other choice if he wanted any prayer of halting NATO from just wiping Russia out wholesale or in negotiating any kind of settlement.

There is one reason, and one reason alone, why we are propping up Ukraine, and everyone with a brain knows it.

They have dirt. Lots and lots of dirt.

Same goes for going easy on China.
it has nothing to do with them having dirt.

neo-libs and neo-cons alike from Hillary Clinton to Bill Kristol have openly stated the goal in regards to Ukraine. US is using Ukraine as cannon fodder to bleed Russia dry and weaken Russia and contain them.

I agree that he doesn't care about his people.

He does care about having enough people to fill out his army though.

Good point.

Anyway, a list of presidents in my lifetime:

Johnson - Too young to remember.

Nixon - A little too young. I remember Watergate.
Ford - Nice guy.

Carter - Disaster in all facets. Gave away the Panama Canal and terrible foreign policy.

Reagan - The best I've seen.

Bush 1 - Nice guy. Not a fan of the Gulf War (or any war).

Clinton - Not terrible as a leader, but corrupt and there's that Arkancide thing. Big trail of death. Decent foreign policy. Perdue got him elected.

Bush 2 - Disaster in all facets. Ramped up the Military Industrial Complex in ways never before seen.

Obama - Community organizer turned president. Weak foreign policy.

Trump - Tried to clean up the Swamp - didn't realize how deep it was. Shoulda stayed off of Twitter.

Biden - Disaster in all facets. Covid got him elected. Doesn't know his policies on anything. Puppet. Who's running the country? It ain't him.

Maybe, just maybe, that ISIS attack in Moscow can bring the USA and Russia together on something. Maybe.

In the past year, I've been around the Horn of Africa, in the Persian Gulf and near Iran (Strait of Hormuz), in Israel twice, downtown Atlanta, and at the Korean DMZ, and am headed to Istanbul in September and Taiwan next March.  We were on a plane flight once that had the flight tracker going over Ukraine, but we deviated from that (duh).

Danger is my middle name.

Whoever plans the cruise line routes won't like me.
