Something like this happened I believe it was around here like 10-15 yrs ago. With a local Target if I'm recalling correctly. And it involved a HVAC company who getting paid from them for contract work.Turns out that company's security had been compromised and the hacks got past their clients security and grabbed a bunch of credit card info and such
Yup, you gotta find the weakest link, which is likely going to be the least invested party in the final security solution.

Yep. And this is why you should NEVER use the same password for multiple web sites. If you do, you are exposing every single website using those credentials to the weakest link website's security.

Ever wonder why your employer makes you change passwords every 90 days (or whatever)? Because of this. They know lazy people use the same password all over the place, but you're unlikely to change your OTHER passwords every 90 days to keep up with this one, so by forcing you to change it often it nearly guarantees it'll be unique.

I wonder if the sharks get as far West in the Gulf as Texas and Mexico. Never heard much about that.

Yeah, a good portion of life in a multinational corporation is "who gets to be shafted by the weird time for a conference call this week?"

Fishing West Bay in Galveston with my dad we were wade fishing with several fish on our stringers

we had a hammerhead make several circles around us at a distance of 50 feet

Most of the time these guys will go away but this time he didnt

My Dad made me tie my stringer to the end of my fishing rod as he did also

We then walked slowly back to the boat about 200 feet away holding our fish well away from us

Fortunately nothing happened as we go back to our boat without incident

While shark attacks are rare in Galveston they do happen

They won't let me give blood anymore. The burnt orange color scares the hell out of the doctors.

We stopped by a construction site during one of our strolls and watched them pouring concrete.  It's impressive to me the coordination needed for this, they had concrete trucks lined up ready to feed the pourer, and as one finished and left, another would show up, all during midday traffic.  This building is barely at ground level for now but slated to get pretty tall so should be fun to watch.  I couldn't guess how many tons of concrete are needed, along with rebar and steel "posts" and then glass panels and all the rest.

I wonder if anyone has ever sued Cambell's, because there is really no way to get all of the cream of _______ soup out of the can. So, you're not really getting 12 oz, or whatever.
