Being poor is very expensive.
And this is my biggest problem with our financial system.

A poor person pays more for the same thing as a rich person.
I'm not going to try to convince anyone that should be reversed (it should), but if anyone has a reasonable argument why it shouldn't be equal, I'm all ears.

I mentioned they had more wealth than the top one percent.  I stated that the middle and upper middle get clipped, on the one percent.
Gonna need to see that data, then.

Never thought you a puppet until now.
Where do you live again?
I don't live between Virginia and Boston, and I don't live on the Pacific Coast.

It starts with education, and I will die on that hill.

Our education system's finances put poor people in a hole from day one.
Tax $$$ from wealthy areas > tax $$$ from poor areas

No one has to die on any hill, you could just stop pretending that there's anything equal about anything when it comes to our country and finances.
Hard work doesn't equal success.  It's required for it, but by and large, if you're starting out from a certain point, your hard work yields nothing.

So your coast is okay and those coasts are elite and hate America and are the villains, right?

Policy puts people in holes.

Then the people in the holes look to the clowns who make policy to help them.

Vicious cycle.

In my view, yes.

The "elite" do everything they can to control and consolidate power.

Just look around.

I agree that school funding is "unfair", to use the term.  The US still spends more overall on K-12 than any larger western country.  And we get poorer results.  (Norway, Luxembourg, Austria, and South Korea spend more per capita.)

COE - Education Expenditures by Country

Maybe we should have a Federal Department of Education to fix all this.
