You're too tall to fly in coach. Premium economy at a minimum.
For overseas trips, absolutely yes. Oddly enough, when we flew to Jeju on a Korea Air A330, the coach seat was quite large.

Ever since Northwest/Delta stopped flying widebodies on domestic routes I've had to be stuffed into 757 seats for the last 20 years.

The Feynman Lectures on Physics Audio Collection

These are the tape recordings of Richard Feynman's 1961-64 Caltech Introductory Physics lectures, which form the basis of the book The Feynman Lectures on Physics. The original recordings were made on 1/4" reel-to-reel tapes, now preserved in Caltech's Archive. In 2010 the entire collection was digitized by media preservationist George Blood.

Went to Buffalo Wild Wing for lunch yesterday. Ended up that the kids and I all had lunch specials, which were not ridiculous, but I looked at the prices for wings when not on lunch special.

10 wings for $20.49.

WTF?

Is this just super-high CA prices, or are y'all paying $2+ per wing where you live?

Wings are like $1 each here at Wingstop.

Gone are the days of 30 or 50-cent wings or all-you-can-eat.  Thank god for AYCE wins in high school, lol.

I'm not a big fan, either.  The wings are fine, but their boneless wings and other chicken has way too much breading.

The Korean Fried Chicken place near us has the best wings I've ever had.  Other than that, I'm not much of a fan.  It's a way to sell a byproduct in effect at great upcharge.

My buddy and I went to a nearby sports bar to watch UGA last week and Ohio State, I had a Rueben which was tolerable but greasy and three beers.  I generally don't like sports bar food.

In other news, I took my step son and his GF and my wife to a high end restaurant here on Thursday and the tab was over $700.  They claimed it was good.  Dinner alone is $110 fixed and two bottles of wine and tip ...  at least he's a really neat fellow.  He works for that fruit company in CA but told me another tech outfit offered him a job with total comp at a cool mil, so maybe he can take us out when we're visiting them.  He was consulting me as to whether he should take it.

Yeah, the meal was underwhelming. When combined with expensive, it's not a place I'll be likely to go again.

Around here, the two of us can dine nicely for $100 or so, the wine is why it's that high.  Wine prices are killer at decent places, the cheapest is usually $40 for something that retails for $15.  If we go out, it's usually for lunch which is cheaper but still pricey.  I really hate spending $16 for two at McDs if we're on the road.

Inflation.
