you got to wonder why pick beer

Im sure the hard stuff is worse for you

I think he picked beer just before football season to target a certain group of folks

Its like they cant stand the idea of a group of people watching the game having some cool ones and enjoying themselves

You’ve got.  Brandon and the Left want you to be as miserable as possible.

It's not just beer, it's alcoholic drinks of whatever ilk.

Current US recommendations say women can have up to one bottle of beer, small glass of wine or shot of spirit a day while men can have two.
But those guidelines are up for review in 2025.

My doc told me one a day was probably a positive, 2 a day he thought was neutral, and more than that was starting to get bad.

I think that's about right, which doesn't mean I do it.  We have all sorts of "recommendations" for this and that, no many of "us" follow all of them, or even know they exist.

I mean, it's ILLEGAL to drive over 70 on most freeways, not just a recommendation.  Around here, that'll get you run over unless you're in the right lane and/or traffic is clogged.  I try and hit the median speed when on a freeway.

The CDC currently recommends that, in the U.S., men limit themselves to two drinks per day and women to one. Current U.S. guidelines are under review but may not be updated and released until 2025.

A problem I have is if I start, Katie bar the door.  Abstinence is easier than moderation.  I don't get drunk, don't get a hangover, but I will consume quite a bit sitting on the couch.  If I can just drink water all night, which I do sometimes, it's all good, I have more trouble getting to sleep though.

We all know things we "should" do to be more healthy.  I do some of them.

If all of a sudden beer drinkers in this country went to only 2 beers a week it would put thousands out of work and completely wreck the industry

Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2020-2025 and Online Materials | Dietary Guidelines for Americans

I suppose all these "guidelines" might do some good, somebody somewhere is probably spending money reviewing them.  But I'd guess those who should listen to these are also those who completely ignore them.
