No chance whatsoever Bush succeeds. He has to go beyond showing statements were false. As a public figure, he'll also have to clear the "actual malice" burden in a defamation case.

My guess is that this lawsuit is a publicity lawsuit designed to bring more media attention to his case, more than actually expecting to win.

Vince Young should have gotten that Heisman instead.

I don't know about "most", maybe, but it's an opinion of course.  Should it be given to some linemen every few years?  Not agonna happen.

The criteria are so subjective it's hard to say much about it.  Just pick a QB or RB having a nice year on a great team and be done.

he 1000% would've had they awarded the Heisman after the bowl games.

"Most outstanding player", which obviously is qualitative and subjective.  And nearly every year it means an offensive back having a nice season on a great team.

Preferably a flashy season with highlights that look incredible and some impressive numbers.  Manziel.

What is Reformer Pilates? What to Know About the Low-Impact Workout (today.com)

In other news, I had my last session this morning.  I really don't know what to think of it, I went 6 times.  And it's expensive ($80/hr).  I don't  get any sense of improvement in anything, maybe some stretching.  I can stretch on my own, maybe get some clues from the Interwebz.

Honestly, a good way to have instructor-led exercise is Peloton. You don't need a bike or treadmill. The app is $12.99/mo and would include all strength (which includes Pilates), stretching, and other non-equipment (i.e. no bike/tread/rower) classes. The full version which includes equipment-based cardio is $24/mo, which could be used on third-party bikes/treadmills etc if you have a gym in your building. And some health insurance companies will pay some/all towards it. You can use the app on a phone or tablet, although I have the Peloton app installed on my Roku so I can use the big screen for it.

Honestly I *hated* going to the gym but I look forward to doing these workouts. A lot of it is that I can do it at home, whenever it fits into my day.

And being instructor-led, there's no guessing about what to do. Pick a class and you're good to go.

If you're interested in giving it a shot, let me know. The standard trial period with the app is 30 days, but I can send a referral code extending that to 60 days. (Note: there is no financial incentive for me on that--they have a financial incentive for referrals if people buy equipment, but not for the app. So this isn't motivated by anything benefiting me.)

Jonathan Taylor didn't even get an invite to NYC. 2 unanimous AA, two Doak Walker awards.

I'm NOT saying there weren't other deserving players invited. Not that at all.

Look at those numbers. Not even an invite. Tells me that a tailback will never win it again.

well, the last non-QB was only 2020 (Covid) DeVonta Smith Alabama - WR

the last RB was 2015 Derrick Henry Alabama

the last non-Bama RB was our buddy Reggie Bush in 2005

before that it was your buddy Ron Dayne 1999

I guess I feel it could still happen, but it's not likely
