Have you seen the quality of construction in Mexico? ;)

Heck, even in Cabo's most luxurious area where we stay you can see the way the cobble things together.

Oh, and they work REALLY slow. We've been watching one house being built for the last two times we were there. Maybe this time it will be done. We go every January.
speaking in generalities and from own experience- obviously don't mean to paint them all this way- but in general in my experience the mexicans in construction in the US in general work very hard (harder than the white people), they'll get shit done and on time and charge less for their labor....but most of the time the quality of their work kinda fkn sucks. It's definitely not great. And as in everything in life- you most definitely get what you pay for.

I know. Both parties seem intent on gumming up the economy to placate idiots.
both parties have rigged the economy in order to serve their multi-national corporate donor masters. this has been going on for 40 years. it's nothing new. and the entire thing is such a rigged con man ponzi scheme of epic proportions there is no way for them to do anything but continually gum it up in order to try and keep the house of cards from collapsing.

mass immigration from Mexico and Central America into the US is largely a byproduct of things like NAFTA & CAFTA. We did not have this insane wave of illegal immigration from Mexico or Central America until after those "free trade agreements" (investors rights agreements) were passed. Why? NAFTA & CAFTA allowed big US agribusiness to go into those countries and literally wipe out the small farmers & ranchers and all the farm hands who worked for them in all the pueblos. And it was a chain reaction which affected every other interconnected local business/industry from rail to retail. Wiped millions of working people in those countries the fk out which put insane pressure on them to flee to the US in order to find opportunity to make money.

Ever hear of a "pump track"???

So what is a pump track? BikeTips defines them as looped circuits of “banked corners and smooth rollers—plus any other features riders might want to throw in” designed so riders are powered by their own momentum (i.e., pumping the bike) with no pedaling required.

Haven't noticed much change here. Typically buy at Costco. We were sitting around 4.55 and I think the last time I was there (Friday) it was 4.75, but we certainly haven't seen a 0.50 rise.

It's still right around $3 here.  $2.95-$3.10 is what I'm seeing around my hood.

For those that don't know, that Gasbuddy site that bf linked is really helpful when looking for the cheapest gas around you (or, when there are shortages, for the ONLY gas around you).  There's also a Gasbuddy app for you phone.

Already saw several at the grocery store.  I love the flavor, but 105 degrees is a little too warm for Fest.  I'll give it a month.

I have no idea what gas prices are doing, because it's irrelevant to me.  I fill up when I'm empty.  The price doesn't affect that at all.
Because it's a need.

It's relevant to a lot of people.

We're at $3.88 here, for regular. 91 is $4.38, which is what we need.

These are WaWa prices. They are generally the cheapest.
