I have driven several Teslas and they were just not well put together vehicles.

Add that IMO- they are ugly as sin-never had even remote interest in them.
I'd buy the ugliest car on the lot if it gets me to where I'm going 13-14-15 yrs

Back in the NW burbs again - got in last night after another delay.

People around here don't smile a lot. Wait staff is indifferent in general.

Then I realize I'm not in Florida.

Oh, and one more thing... Tesla sucks. Never again.
I'd like more info on the Tesla thing.  Range?  Build?  Performance?  Are you renting one?

I expect my next vehicle will be a hybrid, maybe a plugin hybrid, not a full EV, but that hopefully is 3-4 years out.  I've already given up on having a manual transmission.

We have EV plugins in the building, and six more at nearby Kroger.  I understand they cost about 3X more than plugging in at home.

Renting for a couple of days. It's awkward, rides like crap, lots of rattles, I have to charge it somewhere before I return it.

Everything is on a touch screen. To turn it off you have to flash a fob on the outside. There is no key or keyless go/entry.

Garbage car.

Model 3.

The 2 I test drove were brand new.

I hated the ride, the suspension and the handling ( or lack thereof). Plus- how can a new car have that many rattles?

The car just felt like junk.

After two years of painfully high prices, inflation in the United States has reached its lowest point in more than two years — 3% in June compared with 12 months earlier — a sign that the Federal Reserve’s interest rate hikes have steadily slowed price increases across the economy.

The inflation figure the government reported Wednesday was down sharply from a 4% annual rate in May, though still above the Fed’s 2% target rate. Over the past 12 months, gas prices have dropped, grocery costs have risen more slowly and used cars have become less expensive. From May to June, overall prices rose 0.2%, up from just 0.1% in the previous month but still comparatively mild.

At the same time, some underlying inflation pressures remain high and a nagging concern for the Fed, which is all but certain to increase its key interest rate again when it meets in two weeks. The Fed has raised its benchmark rate by a substantial 5 percentage points since March 2022, the steepest pace of increases in four decades. Its expected hike this month will follow the central bank’s decision to pause its rate increases last month after 10 consecutive hikes.

Wait, so does that mean Biden is still an evil buffoon trying to destroy America?
