I really don't remember the 70's pe se, but I can still remember the effect that they had on us well into the 80's. Growing up in the 80's was really a special time IMO because we were kinda between the old world and entering into the new one. I'm much closer to my kids than my parents were with me because their world was just so different than mine growing up but mine wasn't so different from my kids. We had video games, computers, big time movies, some of the most prevalent pop culture they have was the same pop culture we had in the 80's (my kids asked me how I knew about Transformers etc).
