My question is how prevalent this is.  There is no way to know in my view.  We have some examples cited, sure, out of the ~14,000 school districts in the US.  It COULD be very prevalent, or pretty rare, and perhaps some examples were exaggerated, I don't know.

I do know parents can twist things to get attention, it happens, or they simply didn't understand and didn't like the explanations offered.

Yeah, foxnews and christianbullshit.com are just factual, ho-hum sources.
You're right.

I'm sure it's not prevalent at all and those few that are oddly promoting it should be told to stop.
But we have to pretend all of these kids are being scarred for life and the will of the parents is ignored.
When a parent comes in to bitch and moan about a non-issue, the school just wants to do whatever will stop the bitching and moaning.

Here is in brief one example cited in Washington state:

A school in the state of Washington moved to introduce transgenderism to children when a first grade teacher was discovered to have read a book to her students, promoting the advocacy, a move that angered parents.

Jennifer Miller of Geneva Elementary School in Bellingham, Washington read the "I am Jazz" children's book to her students. The information about the incident was forwarded to Young America's Foundation (YAF), a conservative youth advocacy organization.

I'd note this apparently is one teacher, in one class, in one school.  And the reading of this book doesn't strike me as extremely heinous (I'd prefer such books not be read to first graders).  Maybe some context is needed, like did the teacher spend most of the time in the class teaching reading etc.?  Was this an isolated incident amonst more normal teachings?  I don't know.  The implication proffered is almost that the teacher was pushing this and not doing much else, which probably is not the case.

How about ABC news, NBC News, CBS News, LA times?  All left leaning.

Took me another 5 minutes to find 20 examples.

You’re avoiding the question ( “it is not prevalent “ doesn’t work.   It may have fooled the masses on “ 2 weeks to flatten the curve” and “ the vaccine will keep you from getting Covid” for a while)

Even if only in one example- should a school or school Districk be teaching proactively, transgender, ism, and drag, when the parents of the children involved vehemently object to it?

Not in my view.

Well that is the overwhelming majoroopinion of parents. But the “ it’s not happening “  phase we have all seen is where we are now.  In other words- “ hey, look over there!”

Some school, districts and parents have reached a decent compromise where those lessons are pre-scheduled, and parents are allowed to opt their children out of them. But many school districts are not even allowing that and recording those days as absences.

Hopefully, the parents in the affected districts are heard and this stops nearly completely.  I do think most school authorities are responsive to real parental input.

Stories often do get exaggerated of course, by parents or in the media.  That's why I like hearing from "the other side".  Maybe in some examples the principal was alarmed and put a stop to things for example.

I agree with that. But then lets' ask, why are our elected leaders NOT doing this but instead setting up Pride parades and celebrating this crap at the White House? Do you not see the problem here?
