Same here, I've had $100 Kroger bills pretty often of late, not buying anything ridiculous, for two of us. (Sometimes there is some wine in there.)
We've gone to more chicken and some all veg dinners at times. My wife wanted to cut down on beef anyway. We had lamb chops from Costco the other night and we get steelhead trout there, those make 3-4 meals. She made lentils last night with leftover lamb. Was good. And dining out, ouch.
I get the Costco 3 lb coffee in cans, used to be $10, now $13, which is still a bargain, and it's good coffee.
I fear the Fed is going to throw us into recession soonish.
