20% is the threshold for not having to pay PMI and escrow property taxes.

We've never put down less than 20%. I'm at 815. Wife 810.

This policy sucks for people like us.

Can ONE AVOID THIS with a 15 year?  or an ARM?

I got a 10 year ARM refi at a good rate, will have it paid off before it flips.

Government program, ethanol in gasoline.  Various studies show it's not green, it reduces mpg, increases pollution especially of HCHO, and takes more energy to make than it's worth, but we can't stop it.

Do y'all have "chicken and waffles" as a thing near you?  It's all over here as a brunch item etc.  I don't really get it.

The other one I find a bit odd is shrimp and grits.  I've had it, maybe once, it's what it says.  It's OK but I like my shrimp not buried in grits.  What rather odd menu items are popular in your area?
